Yep. My local target has a limit of 2 (which I'm not sure if they actually enforce) and I've only seen stock in my Walmart once and that came yesterday. Was only able to get 2 Topps holiday megas. Was really hoping for a optic blaster or mega, but I'm sure that was the first thing to clear
I've never seen anything at Walmart to the point I'm not sure my Walmart even gets stocked. So I've given up there. Its target or meijer for me. I accidentally stumbled on my meijer stocking time so it was great for a while but nothing last few weeks so I think they change it.

Depends on kind of box. If you want hobby boxes with guaranteed autograph or jersey cards in them I think they run $130 or so for one "hit" or $250 or so for 1 auto and 2 other hits plus a lot of cards. You can get packs in store for a couple bucks and a smaller box with no guaranteed "hits" for like $20
It's a vague and hard to tell distinction but bottom line is one is more rare. If it's not Tiffany it is a $5-15 card probably. If it is Tiffany it's a $250+ card
I've had some nice luck lately buying cheap football boxes in target. Had a hanger of playoff last week that had two Herbert cards in same hanger. One purple variation. My nephew asked me to get him a Contenders box if I found them so I went back and bought 3, 2 for me and 1 for him. Let him pick which box he wanted and sent it in mail. Just opened my two boxes and these were my hits

Can someone explain to me how a BGS with sub grades of 10,9.5,9,9 is a BGS 9 but 9.5,9.5,9.5,9 Is a BGS 9.5? Both average 9.375. It’s so stupid and makes no sense to me.

Yea bought one on release day. I got the cheaper one ($130). Hit base rookies of everyone you'd want and my hit was a Paredes auto, which is cool for my PC. Have no real interest to buy much more other than I may pick up a pack now and then if I want to open something if I see them at retail store
Yea got base Mize, Skubal, Paredes, plus base national guys like Pache, Brohm, Adell, etc. Only non base rookie I got beside Paredes auto was a rainbow foil of Singer
So the box that is $ 130 or so you’re guaranteed one autograph, and pretty much all rookie cards? The cheap $30 dollar one is no autographs, and just random cards? Is that the main difference between the two?
The $130 box isn't even a guaranteed auto, it's a guaranteed hit which could be a jersey card so I got lucky with an auto. The hobby box has 24 packs of 14 cards and a bonus pack with shiny cards in it basically. A box you find at retail store is probably going to be $20-25, and have 14 packs of 7 cards. I think each box comes with a manufactured patch card but no other guaranteed hits. There is also a $250 box that has an auto, two jerseys and has 10 packs of 46 cards and two bonus packs
I got a box of topps update sapphire direct from topps on release for $150. Looks like they go for 200+ Now on eBay. Opened it and got a willi Castro auto which goes for 40. Thought I had a dud of a box with the only good RC being Randy Arozarena. Looked on eBay and looks like the base goes for around 150. Good lord.
I got a CK McCollum. Going to wait to see what the prices do before completing the challenge. A Derrick Rose reward doesn’t do that much for me. They are trying a lot of things right now to see what sticks. New traffic has stopped but I think we will be at least 10x the user base by the playoffs.
I think it's still going to work. I posted my Butler for $110 for now to see what happens. Not the greatest serial but the limited run helps.

Finally buckled down and got started on my 15 card psa voucher submission. Unfortunately I'll have to do a second submission because I have a few cards in no way I could argue would fit under the $500 limit. I've checked through a lot and have 9/15 I'm sending for sure. Not sure how I want to do my last 6 cards. Do I send in higher value older cards but that are more likely 9s or maybe an 8 like Verlander signed rookies, Tim Duncan metal universe rookie, or do I send in some cards that are lower value set cards but have better chance at 10s. Like I have some crappy draft rookies of Mahomes, I have LeBron phenomenal beginnings rookie set so all those cards, or some base cards this year of like Herbert from minor sets or Robert topps Chrome rc, or Torkleson chrome bowman 1st (Unfortunately my refractor too OC to grade). I'm also already sending a torkelson sky blue 1st and Robert Bowman 1st Chrome so not sure if i want to do multiple of 15 on same guys
I'd say you should send the Robert if you think it could gem, as he's in the majors currently and if he was to catch fire you could probably make good money. Tork you have time
Think I'm going to send a base chrome Jasson to flip while his prices still nuts, a robert chrome, one of my Herbert rookies, maybe the patch if it's in good shape, one of my Mahomes rookies because I just noticed it sells over $200 as a 10 and over $100 as a 9. May grade both, because I can't believe HIT cards would sell that high. Also remembered I didn't include my Riley Greene auto, which I think I could sneak in under $500. I'll have to do a second submission with cards valued over $500 with my LeBron rookies, Rodgers rookie, blue Riley Greene auto and my Verlander topps rookie auto.

Their website has made it pretty easy to pick which cards your sending them. I haven't submitted mine yet but have started because luckily I bought the membership that included 15 vouchers before they stopped doing the cheaper tier. But seems pretty easy so far
While we are on the Psa discussion, I have a Herbert Orange Disco but the stamp outline is off, how bad will that affect grading? Tempted to sell it somI kind of want to know what I should ask.
