I'm done with it. I wanted to get into it. But their head folks on discord just chalking it up as a learning experience. What a joke, especially considering it's all crypto and they can fix it.
I mean it took them a week to get the release done then delayed the drop by almost 3 hours Disappointing considering it has the backing of the nba
Apparently after you bought a pack, you could just click in the "packs" link and get a 2nd one without getting in line lol
Weren’t you just talking about making $260 profit from one pack? Even after taking out $25, that seems like a pretty good deal.
I can't even get my purchases in in time. I put in buys for a $5 Jamal Murray and a $15 Giannis, didn't get either after it took me through the whole process.
There’s a delay. If a buy looks too good to be true, it’s probably already gone. I usually buy the second lowest listed moment.
Make sure you’re targeting LE and not CC. If you’re really just trying to dump you can probably work out a trade + venmo with one of us degenerates and save dapper fees
some of the resale prices are wtf....and the thing that blows my mind, none of the moments are that great. Like, in the context of a game or season, they don’t mean anything for the most part
Counter point, what’s significant about Jasson Dominguez’s signed card of him posing at a fall facility? Im not saying I support the prices of either, it’s just the state of where things are at.
true. But at least those make sense in my mind. Just a random 3 pointer in a January game is weird to me
I get it. The ones I’ve tried/attempted to buy are clips I think are cool(nice dunks, big shots), or big names. I think the concept of crypto cards/moments are cool, I just can’t mess with the prices/hassle of getting even a basic pack
I know he pulls some insane cards but I wonder how much he actually spends to pull these cards. Like is he money ahead?
I'd say yes and no. Ripping boxes you going to end up behind but I'm sure he makes enough on YouTube and sponsors that he isn't losing money.
Top Shot failed that Legendary pack release. While I got Queued at 9,000, my buddy from the UK got 1,000. So he should have gotten one no problem. The lottery queue system seems like the fairest way for these big $$ packs if they get it right and no way to get multiple or bypass the system.
Has anyone ever traded cards with a random online before? I’m looking to move a large number of cards in hope scoring just a few larger value cards.
Best way to do it is to make each "trade" worth value and do it via goods and services. Ive been slammed a couple of times on lower dollar high volume deals. Vet the folks you are looking to trade with and seek out the scammers page on fb for history.
PayPal. You can either friends and family or goods and services. Goods and services adds a small surcharge, but protects you from theft. I did about 80 transactions on fb groups about 2 years ago when I was hot and heavy after mahomes and acuna rookies. Had 3 scammers, of which I was able to get 2 resolved. I sent one friends and family. The guy sent some cards, but about 1/3 of our agreement. Played the hospital card
Best part is that this was apart of a group break that Houdini ran. Phil got 3 spots and ended up getting the Lincoln auto
They(Topps) have accumulated a bunch of old autographs/signatures from old famous folks that they use in Transcendent
$30k case. Probably not too many Lincoln signature's in existence. Good selling point to get people to buy the case. Free break. They gave spots out to people that have spent the most on their site, did a bunch of random spots in a twitter contest, and then a bunch of other random ways that gave you a spot into the break. I had 3 chances to get a spot, but i lucked out
This showed on my Google news feed this morning. Tracking down a common 1955 Topps card with a very uncommon signature on it. https://www.beckett.com/news/true-rarity-the-story-of-a-signed-1955-topps-harry-agganis-card/
