What fucking asshole was videoing this? Good thing his Labradors are smarter and better than him. Shouldn’t be surprised though, Labradors are better than almost all humans.
Not these ones. Was hoping that clydesdale would have made that pit's head disappear into the pavement. I've taken care of too many kids in the ED and PICU with pit bite injuries that I'm kinda ok if that breed ceases to exist. Don't trouble yourself with the "it's the owners!" bullshit everyone's heard that nonsense enough.
If I was ever super rich I’d like to think I’d do stuff like this because what the duck else would I do with my money? Sure I could donate, but this accomplishes the same thing, minus the tax breaks
We don’t know what the horse said to the pit before, I’m not going to assign any blame out of context.
My wife grew up on a dairy farm too. Her family does the same thing, she doesn’t do it anymore though
I've watched this clip a million times over the years and never bothered looking up why this pisses Everett off so much. It seems like such a stupid insult, just getting his name wrong. I'm all for kicking Rome's ass, I've just never understood why it bothered him so much.
It's Jim Rome being a dumb POS, huge shocker. "Rome had regularly mocked Everett's aversion to taking hits on the field, mockingly referring to him as "Chris" Everett (a reference to female tennis player, Chris Evert)."
The carriage driver was apparently seriously injured. https://www.fox46.com/news/local-ne...m-horse-during-vicious-attack-at-waxhaw-park/
My neighbors have a foster pit that seems to be incredibly sweet, but I’d by lying if the thought of it snapping wasn’t in the back of my head when it’s in the backyard and I am too. It could easily clear the fence dividing our yards if it wanted to.
Weird when people are pro gun control and anti pitbull control. I’m pro both btw. Virtually everything is safe when handled responsibly. The whole “blame the owners” thing is basically the “guns don’t don’t kill people I kill people” t-shirt logic with a different noun. I love dogs, cats, all animals really, and I’ve met plenty of wonderful pits. I also lived next to a meth head in Marina Del Rey who had 3 pits willing to die to protect their owner and his stash. Luckily the dogs knew and liked me and were super sweet when they saw me. but there were definitely some run ins, for example my roommate’s friend got bit while walking up to our place. Obviously this is the owner’s fault. That doesn’t mean we just gotta say “aw shucks nothing we can do about it!” im also not saying all pits should be put down or anything like that. But I really don’t think limiting breeding and/or making people have a permit to own a pit bull is all that crazy considering the damage they can do. you need a permit to own plenty of animals that are much less dangerous and aren’t an invasive threat.
I'm not saying pits should be totally eradicated, but I'm certainly not a fan of them, at all. Pit owners are usually much more ass-holeish than their dogs, though.
