Nope meant to mention that the other day, but I think I noticed they patched it, at least when I was doing TA2 showdowns last week. What killed me was the double plays I had earlier weren’t even GBDP. I hit two line drives at the 1B who caught it and tagged the dude out instantly.
Played 3 tonight, every game was 2-1. Won 2, lost 1. Lost to a guy that was just better. He hit rockets all over the field straight at people but he got 2 terrible PCI/early HR's to win it. Would have felt better if his rockets left the park though lol.
I fucking suck at the "hit 9 extra base hits over 11 games" moments bullshits and they're so time consuming
Played one game tonight, won 5-4. I had Edward make his debut, he threw Burnes at Shribe. My CAP had 3 HR (one was like 330ft lol), but it was more because I guessed right rather than it bring my CAP. He took me deep twice on two perfect pinpoint pitches so I’ll say it was even. I’ll have to look tomorrow but my stats with Smith have to be insane based on limited use.
I have a 42 choice pack and I'm scared to open it because I don't know which player to pick and I fear that decision
How do you get your sell price under the quick sell price? Clearly it's some kind of work around. It's ruining the cards listed on showzone.io
Guys who get promoted from one tier to another. Think gold to diamond. You can't bid less than 5000 K on the player but all the other orders are still there from before they become a diamond.
dblplay1212 prices seem really low for guys below 20k. Been a week or so since I bought anyone under 20K, just put in another 15-20 orders because guys have dipped.
At least people just wont use him. What's worse is like this months Ozzie Smith. His perfect/perfect contact just clears the IF.
It’s a current White Sox minor leaguer. Picture is misassociated with the card because of the same name. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/gonzalu03.shtml
Was throwing a gem with Lee over lunch but left him in too long gave up a game tying HR in the 9th. Ended up in the 13th inning and had to quit because I had to get back to work. Sucks lol
The way they measure XBH is so fucked with people on base. I literally hit a double with Gary Carter just now, and gapped it to deep left center. I slid into 2nd base before the throw back even hit the cutoff man in shallow CF, yet, because the cutoff man wanted to throw home it didn't count as a double. I'm so livid, like wtf is that? In no world that isn't a double. I get it when it wouldn't have been a double if they chose to throw to 2nd base, but when I would have made the double regardless, it should flipping count -- so pissed off by that.
The White Sox have a Luis Gonzalez who's a 25 year old prospect. SDS incorrectly used old Luis Gonzalez's card. Guess it should be worth a lot as an error!
Oh I am not investing, I am just buying all the cards in the game. Right now I own all of the cards in the game under 30K with the idea being I am loaded up for collections.
How many of the 2259 total items in the game do you own? I'm at 868, which I'm guessing is about 1200 less than you.
Not seeing it on the mobile. I don't collect all the equipment and random other shit for exchanges because I think that's a bigger waste of time that what I'm currently doing. Just mainly players. I can go through and count how many players I need for all of them though.
I just went through and bought a few of the base round guys from the 2nd kitchen sink pack for 11-12k. It should be leaving the store tomorrow and those guys from the 1st pack who were 10-11k are now close to 20k. Hoping to turn 200k into close to 400k
Game gives out so many stubs, I was at 375 before my purchases today and I haven’t even been flipping. All the second inning bosses I did manage to unload for profit. Smith was the last to go.
Played my first RS game in ages and came out victorious 3-0 on the back of two Trae Turner jacks. Great feeling right there. Now prepared to get rocked my next time out.
About to face a dude who has Jenkins on the hill…and a CAP leading off named Robert E Lee Fucker has bright pink jerseys and pants
Out hit this guy 7-3, Burnett had 15 Ks in 7 IP but I lose 1-0. Jenkins was tough to face he had a 97mph FB then a high 70s Forkball that kept messing with me. I need to calm down at the plate, I just start swinging at everything in the dirt when I get pissed lol not sure what is going on but I can’t pick up the pitch at all lately. Feel like the rookie/veteran from showdown threw me off.
Man at 1b, no outs, pitcher squares to bunt, runs takes off for 2b, high and inside sinker, looks like it hits him, announcer says it hit him but he swung. Runner at 1b is given 2b, pitcher still at bat. Sacrifice bunt to 3b. Fly ball scores the eventual winning run. I'm mad.
Also don't recall seeing it here, but new player program drops today. Reddit seems to think it's gonna be Dave Parker.
Other than one time in a BR run around Monday/Tuesday, I haven’t noticed anyone trying this since this video came out. And even then it was a terrible connection from the start and it froze after my 2nd pitch. I saw someone speculate that this is primarily an Xbox issue as far as initiating the freeze but I don’t know that there’s much truth to it. I’m also stuck in 650-685 ranked seasons purgatory so maybe that’s why I haven’t seen much of this personally.
What LHBs are folks enjoying these days? Just got Glaus but that gives me 6 righties (Buxton, Semien, Groshans, Acuna, Gary Sanchez) and two lefties (Ohtani, Thome). 42 series Alvarez and Brad Miller on my bench.
Dave Parker and his weak ass 85 pwr moments can go kick rocks. Spent about 40 minutes and only have half the moments done because he hits perfect perfects to the warning track. On to Topps Now and these pitching moments instead.
