Fuck me. Select hangers were available on my phone and by the time I grabbed the wife’s phone for the red card buys they had sold out. One day I’m going to buy some select products.
absolutely nothing (in my opinion) but some people do not like it because it's an unlicensed product.
yep. topps has the mlb license and panini has the nfl and nba license (yet still makes baseball cards).
I would say that most of the hobby that I’ve interacted with feels like this thread does, and prefers licensed.
I watched a video of some Select Baseball blasters being opened and I would stay away. What's the difference between the Series 2 Megas and Blasters? They come with the same amount of cards + 70th anniversary patch card.
Just moved into a new house. I had an extra room that I used as my “man cave” and it had an amazing closet used to store my stuff. I’m struggling to sort how I want to organize them now, and it sucks.
We are waiting to build for our next house, and I want about a 600sq ft man cave basement installed for my collectibles and movie room.
I have a spare room now with my cards in the closet and got shelves on wall to display some. Our kids Rocker is in there with a TV. If we ever have a second kid I'm in trouble, although I'm sure I could build something in my basement to store them
Consensus on a baseball card group on FB I follow is the description for the Series 2 Giant Box on Target is wrong.
I'll likely open it Friday/this weekend. I got 4 blasters of Champions League, and 5 soccer chronicles cellos on their way too
I could not care less about those or NBA. That's probably what I need to invest in for ripping and flipping rather than baseball and NFL. Wouldn't be tempted to keep anything
Soccer is fire right now, if you buy that just sell it to me Agree 100% on basketball. I opened some last year just to rip, but I have absolutely no desire to collect it.
Target fucked up the picture and description of the prizm draft pick blaster box. Will be interesting to see if they send blasters or megas.
Pulled this from a blaster of Bowman Got a few paper colors as well and some chrome 1st out of the 3. Opened 2 blasters of Series 2 and didn't really get anything of note.
Random question I have if you have a slab from a lesser respected grading company and want it graded by PSA/BGS is it best to send in the current slab? For example, a gem mint from Five Star Grading. Do you think this impacts their decision making at all? Almost feel like it would sway them to make it a 9 because their mindset would be they’re stricter than these janky companies.
Always snap it out and send raw. PSA hardly ever (read: never) upgrades cards on crossover orders. I've had success snapping out BGS 9s (as long as they look good) and then getting a PSA 10 them. BGS is way too harsh on centering. I've also snapped a couple BGS 9s and gotten PSA 7s lol. Whoops.
https://www.target.com/p/2021-panin...ing-card-blaster-box/-/A-82217834#lnk=sametab they still haven't fixed this.
