The pro move is to get coneys and take a pinch of the cheese and put in on an oyster cracker with some hot sauce
Had some last night. Wasn't bad but need to microwave it longer to get it more hot in the middle. Definitely will get again from Publix.
open to suggestions, only in Cincy for 2 days. starting in Nashville and working our way up to see my wife’s best friend in Louisville and a good friend of mine in Cincy.
He lives just on other side of the river, mostly downtown area I’d guess. I’m a super non-picky food eater, but like anything/everything so any suggestions I’m game.
It's outstanding. He mixes a lot of Asian-inspired dishes with southern cooking and it just works. My two favorites are the Korean BBQ fried chicken and the Thai shrimp over cheddar grits. My wife always gets The Yukon with an egg. I've never had anything there I didn't love. But I always feel like a bloated fatass afterward because I don't know when to stop.
If you’re over the river OZ2, Agave & Rye is great taco/marg place and a really cool brewery with a rooftop deck across the street called Braxton.
Amen. There gonna be a Cincy tmb outing sooner or later and my wife gonna look at me as crazy as when Goose came to my beer booth and said “hello at the show!” Lol
Boom town was really good. Had the Yukon which was a chicken biscuit with gravy, smoked cheddar, and bacon. Would bang again
i thought o’bryons in newport had really good wings. crazy fox was a neat little neighborhood bar too
Had a place called OTR and now at Rhinegeist. First, I need to travel here next time Timbers are in town. Second, I’ve made ‘skyline’ chili before and liked it so I figured I would, but I was really impressed with OTR. It wasn’t overly sweet and I got the 5 way (go big or go home) and everything was excellent. Only difference is you motherfuckers like too much cheese on top, cut that down to 1/3 of the amount and this shit is great. Pale Ale is good, excited to try some others.
Haven't had OTR chili but I've heard it's good. Really aren't any bad versions of Cincy chili in the city, they all just have slight differences. Rhinegeist is know for their hoppy beers but they have some good sours too if you're into those. You definitely should come back for a Timbers game as FCC's new stadium is awesome. The stadium is right down the street from where you are. Not sure if they're doing tours but can't hurt to try to get in and see it. Our MLS opener was against Portland a couple years ago and I hung out with some cool Timbers fans after the game actually at at Rhinegeist and the pizza bar next door. Also, there is no such thing as too much cheese when it's that shredded goodness.
