i also read that initial post and was like, “uhhh….guess I’m not up on the most recent Catholic churches per capita figures because I don’t know if that’s a lot or normal or a little.”
I posted about my wife’s co-worker a few times previously. The anti-mask, anti-vaccine kindergarten teacher who opted her own kids out of masks, who has been in the ICU for six weeks and whose husband refused to allow the hospital to put her on a ventilator for several weeks after it was recommended because “we’re Republicans.” Now here’s their story in today’s Palm Beach Post because he’s suing to require the hospital to use Ivernectin: https://amp.palmbeachpost.com/amp/5991796001
So is she on death's door? If they wanted to put her on a ventilator and he kept refusing then I'd imagine she's in very bad shape.
it truly is sad that she's taken a precious ICU bed from someone far more deserving for six god damn weeks.
I think she is. I just don’t see how she recovers. If you have a recommendation for a ventilator it’s because you can’t breathe right at that time so waiting two weeks beyond that seems like a death wish.
This dude looks exactly how I imagined he would (that is to say, a conservative doppelgänger of El Tiburon )
My uncle has been in and out of that hospital recently for non Covid issues. Unplug her ass and send her home and give her the horse paste and see how she does.
What the fuck kind of irresponsible journalism is this shit? "While her regular nurses knew that her symptoms would subside, a substitute nurse became alarmed. She called a doctor, who ordered Drock to be placed on a ventilator and put in a coma."
Jerry Parr, 70, Powell, TN, Pastor, Anti-vaxxer, goes to heaven on the COVID plane. According to this obituary, Jerry died on October 4, 2021. Jerry was the pastor at New Life Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. He was an impressive anti-vaxxer and apparently a bold one given his age and his goatee. This first post kind of wraps up everything Jerry stood for:
Dale and Melissa Williams, 52, 54, Georgetown, IL, Against Vaccination, both dead from COVID. According to this obituary, Melissa died on September 17 and Dale died on September 20. They both died from complications due to COVID infections. Dale was the anti-vaxx social poster of the family. You have to be impressed with this man's spirit, he went down yelling. (by the way, if anyone finds a better picture of Dale could you post in the comments and I'll change it) Edit: Found a better picture of Dale.
I like to think that in March 2020 when the CDC was making recommendations on facial hair and masks, a bunch of dudes shaved their beards into goatees so that their masks fit more securely. Then they caught a glimpse of themselves in the mirror and said fuck a mask, the world needs to see this.
Deanna H Gray, 44, Rosedale, IN. Anti-vaxx, husband almost died, she refused Vax, Died later. According to social media posts (below), Deanna died from COVID on September 30, 2021 after being hospitalized around the 5th of September. Deanna's husband, Mike, was hospitalized in late July with COVID, after he was released from the hospital, Deanna published a long rant. That rant is all we need to see in this sorryantivaxxer entry. Here is her rant. If you don't want to read it all basically it says and I'm paraphrasing, "I'm not getting vaccinated because someone vaccinated gave my unvaccinated hubby COVID." Actually, I had trouble following the logic but I think that's it.
Me, as a nurse: We’re seeing a lot of cases of people not dying from the virus leading to a lot of people dying from the virus.
White guys over 50 with a goatee or moustache are like almost universally racist pieces of shit in my experience.
As a white guy with a goatee getting closer to 50, I agree with this statement. I am fat and bald and my wife says I look like a thumb with no facial hair. I can’t grow a good enough beard to go that route so I am stuck with some version of mustache/goatee. It’s hard out there for us non-racist white guys with goatees. And every dig I read on this website hurts a little more. Thankfully my pretty thick goatee shields some of that pain.
Hi! I'm not a racist piece of shit. I'm just a regular piece of shit. I'm full beard currently, but I've been a member of the "over 50 with a goatee or moustache" for long stretches.
