Just doesn't do it for me. Not a fan of their gunplay going back to when Zampella was at Infinity Ward. Fallen order could have been good but felt rushed and lacked content.
Portal has so much potential. But they need to open it up. Then again, maybe there’s only a little in there because the player base is too small.
So as an experiment, I wanted to disable crossplay on Xbox... but I have to DISABLE IT FOR ALL GAMES IN THE XBOX SETTINGS? Jesus, this game keeps getting worse.
I've disabled crossplay in other games on Xbox though so... I don't care who's at fault, it still sucks
It's definitely a MS thing. I've heard it's the same way on CoD on Xbox. There's no way it's easily available on PS5 and not on Xbox for any other reason.
This isn't true at all. I can disable it in the Account & Network settings within Vanguard. Sounds like 100% a Dice issue.
breakthrough is unplayable for a variety of maps. and the maps arent good to begin with. they need to do a ton of work. not sure how they fucked up so much in this game. its pretty embarrassing.

I know, it's so fucking simple. Innovation is not required when you have a successful game. Studios found this out like 30 years ago. It's just mind boggling how dumb they are.
I think I'm more miserable about it because I only play a handful of games and bf was my main. So wtf do I need this 3080 for.
Almost all players wanted was basically an updated BF4. They told us we year you, this game will be a love letter to BF fans, etc. Instead they give us whatever this is. Now the rumor is they are doing all of this personnel shift and the first rumor I hear is that the next game we are getting is going to double down on the hero bullshit. EA is the worst publisher in the world and it's not even close.
I'm actually having more fun since turning off crossplay, though I'm still irked on how you have to do it on Xbox.
Yeah it has those moments I really enjoy. Just stupid shit but it’s satisfying. Like jumping from a chopper and Sniping 3 dudes while floating through the sky. Sniping in general is really satisfying in this game. There’s way too much open space though.
The moment to moment action can still be fun. But so many design choices are holding this game back. And they are so baked in that they really can't be fixed.
The funniest part is the thing people like, which is portal, isn't going to survive if the game continues this way. It needs a ton of people to keep the servers going or people won't stick around.
Yep. I just can't get my head around them not understanding that they can fix the dropping player numbers by having no xp limitations at all in Portal. I know they want to cut out xp boosting, but this is kind of a cut your nose off to spite your face situation. The game will die, but hey there won't be any more "cheaters"
Portal was the main reason a lot of people picked this up and they have it where nobody is in there right now.
It's all I've been playing. Very sick of the OP vehicles in the big modes. The Bolte is absolutely ridiculous.
I admit that enjoy sniping so I am content just picking a spot and going to town. If you are infantry though, that mode is shit. Edit: Bigger modes.

This thread shows that they just absolutely do not get it, and probably never will. The one thing that could keep this game alive, and they're doubling down on destroying it. How they think the answer to xp farming (not even a problem at all in my eyes) is to fuck over the entire community is beyond me.
I agree it’s a game, you’re supposed to do dumb shit. Just because it’s used in a manner that you didn’t anticipate doesn’t mean you yank it. Nerf it like you would a gun, don’t take it away.
Not going to buy the game or anything but just posting for conception. This is ten times better map design than what we got. New guns, you can see progression, rinse and repeat. I have zero interest in COD or BR but i never thought i’d see the day where they designed better maps.

Hopefully they fix being able to call in vehicles on rooftops soon. Also, would like for people to not be able to sit in spots in breakthrough with tanks where the attackers can't even go. Had that on Manifest. Tanks just up on the hill that's in a spot where attackers can't go. So there's literally nothing we could do about them.
Recon drone would have been out of range I think before we even got to them. I haven't used the recon drone but I'm assuming they have a limited range?
While I agree it is fun, I absolutely hate it. Just doesn't feel like it belongs in a BF game. Also is annoying as shit watching people dive bomb the ground and take zero damage when they do.
