I assume talking about best Emo vocalist from that era means Anthony Green is excluded because he destroys them all. For newer stuff, Lucas Woodland of Holding Absence is right there.
He’s only sang what like 16 songs for Saosin? And a majority of that is when he rejoined the band over a decade later. Cove had an almost impossible job replacing him in Saosin, and he did pretty damn well.
Side note: Went to look for a picture of Chris, and that man has changed looks 500 times over the last 25 years. Went with an album cover to be safe.
Are we supposed to not include nostalgia as part of the reason why we still love this music? I’m almost 38 years old, married and have two children. I don’t listen to this bullshit because I think it’s musically brilliant. I listen to it because it makes me remember when I wasn’t almost 38 years old, married and had two children.
I’m not sure what thread it should go in because they’re not necessarily emo, but I’ve been tearing through Frightened Rabbits catalog recently and it’s just great.

No Florida dates Not so fun fact: “Coming Clean” was on when I totaled my first car when I was 16 in the year 2000. Still can’t listen to the song without recreating the accident in my mind.
Is Prince Daddy & The Hyena celebrated in this thread? If not, they should be. I've probably listened to their new album more than anything else this year. These are the two biggest standouts from the album imo.
Turnover has evolved so much that I wouldn’t call them emo anymore. Nonetheless, this new release with Brendan Yates of Turnstile is good as fuck.
Not sure how I missed it, but The Early November dropped a new single a few days ago. It, as you might expect, fucking rules.
Let’s name comeback albums that didn’t suck. Hopesfall - Arbiter Casket Lottery - short songs for end times Is that it
