Y’all know Driveways is one of my favorite bands, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise, but their new synth side project rules. First single, Apologies, is out now.

It’s close, but TAYF by a slight margin.

 

I’m listening to “Louder Now” for the first time in probably more than a decade. Lots of memories flooding back. This album came out my senior year at UF and it was on constant rotation then.

Nah, my hair is curly so I could never have bangs. I was also very preppy in high school, though I did wear a lot of pop punk and emo band shirts.

 

I had a Mohawk or liberty spikes with my hair died as deep black as possible, with spikes and studs on my backpack from about 2000-2003 when I got out of college.

 

Hell yeah, WED.

 

As someone who is nearly completely gray at the age of 38, I should adopt the look now and dye my hair as black as possible.

 

I had long hair in college but no tats/piercings so I retained some vestige of mainstream society

I had various piercings. Never gauges in my ears. Had an industrial in one. Then tragus and rook pierced in each too.

They never healed and took them out.

I haven't been the biggest fan of Bayside but dig a few of their songs. This is new as of about a month ago.

 

Not sure which thread Sleep Token belongs in, but they’re definitely going to be the biggest buzz band of 2023
