Edit: Disregard - it's tough to keep up with the shootings and I thought there were 5 killed yesterday also in the same area.
It wasn’t a race, just a “fun run”. I wasn’t surprised, just playing off the point that devine made. If you go out of your way to display the flag, especially in this day and age, you are likely a chud or completely oblivious, unfortunately.
Make a point that anyone celebrating today loves America and therefore president Joe Biden and see where it takes you.
Wear an "I support the President" hat and you've got a stew going at a mixed political affiliation event.
brandon jokes are so bad they’re funny now but like you said only amongst friends. love to just go with “president brandon” any time I’m discussing biden with friends
Well they’re boycotting Nike and Adidas/Puma are German companies (though it’s probably giving them too much credit to assume they know that)
Are we talking athletic wear or shoes - because I feel like New Balance has to be a strong contender here.
I’ve traveled quite a bit and I can report that there are indeed better countries. We are just obsessed with saying we are the best
Great idea. I’m going to Uber eats some Popeyes before I lose my taste buds in the name of personal freedom.
yes I’ve been to close to 20 countries and when someone asked me “where would you go thats better?” I replied “a lot of fucking places man.”
I'm generally trying to figure out where and when our troops fought and died for our freedoms since the Civil War. I guess Japan attacked us on our soil in WW2, but were they or Germany ever a real threat for occupation?
it’s always the whites crying about freedom the most and no soldier died for that specific demographic in even the civil war
they go boom and look cool I won’t participate in buying/lighting them, but they’re cool to watch feel sorry for all ya’ll’s doggos though
We fought 2 wars in the ME after 9/11 and I'm still not free to go drink at an airport bar unless I have a plane ticket.
I guess the Revolutionary War. Though those weren’t “troops” like we’d think of them today. And not a lot of them died. And we really gotta thank the French.
My mom(who’s brother died in a fireworks incident, don’t wanna talk about it) is texting me about the “awesome” show her cop reject neighbor is putting on and I’m dealing with a ptsd dog myself It’s also my dad’s birthday and I got a dui on this date some 18 years ago I don’t hate July 4th but not loving life or Merica rn.
We love you Gunners and I was raised in a household that deified WW2 generals like Patton and Eisenhower but man Stalin knew how to throw meat bags at German positions by the million
Guys my post says "since the Civil War" so that disqualifies the 2 wars we fought against the British. I will say those wars were fought for my freedoms, but what freedoms would I not have if we had just chilled for a while? The freedom to get bankrupted by healthcare bills?
My neighbors shot off fireworks last night. My dog was not a fan. He pissed on my daughters play mat. He never pisses in the house. He also hides under a table or in the closet. He’s got PTSD ever since they did this last year. He’s now afraid of storms.
