That type of setlist is pretty common when they are touring to support a new album. Their album supporting tours always have weaker set lists if you don’t like the album. I’ll be at the last show in Denver so hopefully they pull out some bangers for it.
I kind of had a mixed reaction to the set list. On the one hand it’s like new songs, meh. On the other hand, it’s kinda like “cool, I haven’t heard these live before, maybe they put a cool spin on it.”
I only really like a few songs on the new album. Others aren't bad by any means but don't do anything for me. Would much rather hear random b sides or older songs I haven't heard before live. Issue for me is songs they rarely play that I'm hoping to hear live aren't likely to happen on these types of tours because they're playing 7-8 songs from the new album and then gotta play a lot of the hits. Eddie normally does a good job so I have hope.
I expect them to play Gigaton songs and actually look forward to hearing most of them live. I'm mostly bummed by the length of the sets and could also go the rest of my life without hearing Better man, Jeremy or Daughter.
I get that they want to play songs off Gigaton since they haven’t really got a chance to yet. I got pretty into that album during the pandemic so its exciting to finally hear those songs live. But totally agree, now that I’ve looked at it, not blown away by that setlist.
I like hearing the tags on Daughter but I don't need to hear Jeremy, Evenflow or Betterman again live. I know Alive or RITFW are staples but I'm extremely tired of them as well.
Evenflow Alive Porch Corduroy I would be interested to see how often they were played by tour. Evenflow was obviously played constantly early on but I feel like at the end of the 90s and early 2000s it wasn't played as often and then within the last 12 year or so started being played almost every night again. Wonder if they added it back in almost every night because they can jam on it for awhile and let Ed's voice get a rest.
Love Pearl Jam fans because they keep track of everything. Evenflow Yield Tour played 91% Binaural Tour- 91% Riot Act- 92% 2005 tour- 95% 2006- 88% 2009- 78% 2010- 82% 2011- 87% 2013- 77% 2014- 94% 2018- 100%
Underwhelming, to me, on paper but I wish I had been there. Other than unusual song placements and reverse Mamasan seems pretty sterile.

Wildflowers is up on YouTube. The Petty version is the song my daughter and I dance to. She likes PJ too. She's 5.
I have Wutang in Tampa on 9/21. Then get on a plane at 6:30am and fly to Denver for the Pearl Jam show that night. Going to be a long 24 hours.
Probably their last show for quite some time. You can tell they’re physically and mentally exhausted.
Yeah that run after DOC was quiet odd. Never heard Long Road, Faithful and Interstellar into Corduroy live so was pretty pumped about that.

They've played there before I believe. I wanted to go to both Chicago shows but I'm in Europe for 10 days just prior to the tour then in Boston the weekend they're in Austin so had to find a weekend show in between.
Getting to Chicago on the first day or the third day of school is unlikely. Might try Indiana. Noblesville is where Indianapolis's major amphitheater is located. It's like when people come to Clarkston, MI to play concerts, it's the Detroit outdoor concert spot.
New album “Dark Matter” coming out April 19! Title track out now. Wonder if there will be anything that stands out. Haven’t found much on the last two
I like the new song. Need those tour dates to be confirmed. Going to try and go to Vegas and Missoula.
Not a member of the Ten Club but requested tickets to either of Wrigley shows. I’ll find out whether there is anything available on the 22nd. Any chance there will be any or am I up shits creek without a paddle?
Best album since Yield for sure, and maybe the best since Vitalogy. Can’t wait to see how some of the songs translate live.
