Did you upgrade through the app? Honestly you can probably sell your phone for more. Less convenient but not a total loss.

Getting the wife an apple watch, she will not use any of the functionality besides seeing notifications going off on her phone to help with her call shifts. Looking at the Apple Watch SE but can't decide if the GPS only option has enough range when she is in the hospital or home? Is the cellular option worth it or is the GPS only range generally enough? She will typically have her phone near 99% of the time
AirPod Pro 2nd gen are noticeably better at ANC than the originals. As good and maybe better than the Sony XM-4s. Really impressed so far.
Get the gps SE, thats what my old one was and I could walk away about 40 yard with two walls between me and my phone and it would still pick stuff up.
Still rocking the 3. There hasn’t been an improvement that has made me want to upgrade. I don’t cycle and run outdoors as much as I used to to justify an upgrade. Have gone back to regular watches.

If you’re having battery life issues make sure your background app refresh is off in settings - this according to someone from apple
My battery drain has been awful. I will be in the high 70's from 2 hours of reading and listening to podcasts in the morning. Hope this helps.
that’s almost always the case after a new ios is released 2-3 updates and it will be back to normal imo

wait. turn off all background app refresh? This defeats the purpose of the phone. I went and disabled misc apps but others I need notifications available when I am not in the app at the time.
Anyone had any pairing issues with the new watch? My wife’s unpaired and now it won’t find it to re-pair with the watch on her phone.

In a similar boat. I ordered the phone 2-3 hours after pre-orders went live and was told to expect delivery of October 7th. At some point, that changed to October 10th. Late last week, I was told the phone would be delivered by 7pm on Monday (10/3). The phone indicates its in my town but it wasn't delivered on Monday. Same thing on Tuesday: 7pm delivery; no dice. Then the UPS website updated to "on the way" (a step before "out for delivery") and it says it's been "on the way" since 8:40am on Monday. Meanwhile, Apple is telling me they need to have my old phone (a 13 pro max) by 10/14 since the phone was supposed to be delivered on 10/3. None of this is that big of a deal since I figured I'd get the phone late this week or early next week, but while I'm waiting all these reviews keep coming out saying the phone is shit and not to get it. I'm tempted to refuse delivery of the phone, assuming they ever actually deliver it.

I just reset my watch and it then connected to my new phone. I tried to transfer all the settings and data to the new phone. Seemed to have worked. My watch then tried to sync with new phone via app and it started to do so, then suddenly stopped and couldn’t reconnect. Then I just ended up resetting my watch, seemed to do trick. Things ran smoothly after. But it did require me to redo my watch layouts and apps from scratch

Sounds like my phone fell off the back of a truck. Filed a claim with UPS, which triggered Apple sending me a replacement and multiple emails saying to return the phone I don’t have. Called Apple to explain what’s going on and to cancel the order, and I gotta say, each time I’ve called Apple it’s been a very positive and helpful experience. Polar opposite of dealing with UPS.
Upgraded to 14 pro max from the XS so much better its only lost about 4% in about 5 hours so I don’t know where the battery concerns come from
I have a '16 T6 R-Design fully loaded and have been going back and forth on whether to get a Recharge or wait for the EX90, but I also only have like 40k miles and little kids so I'm also not sure if its a sound decision to get a $80K plus car for them to ruin.
