Gotta say this is the first episode that I’ve had an issue w/ the pacing. I knew coming that they’d be flying through 20+ years and knew about the cast changes so I was never really thrown by the time jumps. But the Vaemond plot all happening in the span of half an episode feels rushed to me.

This would be like someone in the book thread years ago complaining that someone said “can’t wait to see how they handle the red wedding” or “can’t wait to see battle of the black water on tv” I haven’t said something like “can’t wait for daemon to wake up and discover he grew a dragon dick” or something very specific
Spoiler heard a theory on ringerverse that it may be a reference to a scorpion (beast) housed under the deck of a ship (beneath the boards) that takes down Jace and Vermax. The utterance came right after Jace’s speech. I think this makes the most sense.
I read the replies to one of those goofy HOTD tweets like the Community one I posted above and totally spoiled a major event.
It was revealed in the last episode that she’s playing stuff behind the scenes. It wasn’t directly said but assumed she is the one who leaked the info to Otto about the pleasure house visit which would make sense because that’s what she basically ran.
The scene where the queen talks to the servant that was raped by Aegon was given moon tea by one of the queen's servant's. She's the one who went to the pleasure house as the informant.
The ending made no sense but it was entertaining af annoys me that Rhaenys doesn’t have black hair but I get they have to simplify things

Condal in the after the episode said that Rhaenys knew she could’ve averted war but felt like she didn’t want to do that to another mother. man what the fuck?
