This thread has taught me to not immediately kill all forms of snakes. I calmly ushered him out the back door with a broom, and let him live his life eating small amphibians and rodents.
Good on you, and thanks so much for doing that. If you’re outside, a gentle spraying with a garden hose will tropically get them on their way as well.
Was out on the trail behind us with my pups looking for a neighbors lost frenchie. Went up to the top with the dogs leading the way then on the way down I was in front. Looked to be about 7’. One of the bigger ones I’ve run into. We had just walked past there 5 minutes before and didn’t see it. With the cooler temps I’d kinda taken a break from my rattler vigilance but looks like we have a bit longer to go. Thank goodness for head lamps. frenchie was found. He’d gone over the ridge line and down to the valley where he crashed a wedding and was apparently the star of the reception.
Boy, 8, turns the tables on deadly cobra and bites back, killing it https://sports.yahoo.com/boy-8-turns-tables-deadly-160126873.html
Sorry bro. 100% western diamond back. Easy to see in real life in not in the photo. They are plentiful here.
Gotcha. Looks much more like a rat snake or gopher snake from the general body shape. Shouldn’t have assumed
ChrisSweet’s king Oracle died like a month ago You gotta respect a guy that saved a king that was about to die then made him absolutely puppy tame. Dude is crazy but it’s so genuine at the same time, you can’t fake the shit those people do
I follow a lot of those types but he trusts his animals the most This is probably why I never have good dreams
My 5 year old daughter was obsessed with snakes about a month ago. For a out 2 weeks ago she was watching snake videos all the time. There's one on Disney/National Geographic about King Cobras. That was her favorite, by far. It's like a 60-90 minute piece, decent watch tbh.
Check out these animal toys, reasonably priced and would have been pretty cool when I was a little kid. There's a cobra somewhere in here https://www.safariltd.com/collections/wild-safari-wildlife
If I had to make a choice, I’d be hard pressed to not go with rhino vipers as the most beautiful snake out there. This one is simply jaw dropping.
