What kind of snake is this?

Looks like a water snake to me.

I see these all the time in my yard. No idea what species they are, but they're beautiful.

 

My vision isn’t the best but I think it’s a king snake

 

That's what I thought. Some of these guys get like 5-6 ft.

I saw one hauling ass across my backyard last week. Fucker made it 50 yards and into a brush pile before I could get my phone out to snap a picture. Gorgeous animals.

 

Well he came back. Trying to figure out the best options now. Rabbit was ok.

 

He will learn trying to get those rabbits is a waste of time soon enough.

I think my wife is leaning to catch and behead. Will try to talk her into relocate.

Saw this little guy walking with the family after work today.

 

Can anyone ID? Appeared to have a white band around the neck, could have been skin shedding though. Thanks.

Nope. I don't know what either of them are

 

Both appear to be non-venomous. The second one looks like a plain bellied water snake. If I had to guess (and these pics were taken in Arkyslaw), I'd guess the first is a diamondback water snake.

Don't take my word for it, though.
