Yeah probably. It’s kind of strange, one news report with the footage. I assume they could just request is at the cops probably didn’t see much use in releasing it.
I’d say they do, if only because of the targeted part which is basically confirmed. They have a lot more info on this and DNA is only starting to come through. Who is another story.
The update looking for tips r/t white Hyundai sedan doesn’t seem desperate or fishing imo. Considering how little info they actually confirm/deny let alone release unprompted. Seems to be “out of character” by LE for such a specific request for public info.
Likely yes, not hard considering DNA from first victim found on second so on. Haven't announced it though.
Every typical dateline in this situation is like "We knew the car was a 2008 Toyota Highlander whose license plate had a Q and a J in it, and we were able to get it down to 2,847 in a 75 mile radius" Always more than you expect. Going to come down to someone who had suspicions about someone coming forward after seeing this
I’m not discounting what you are saying but didn’t we start this saying there’s no threat to public safety? Now we casting a pretty large public net for information a few weeks later?
I don’t want to accuse anyone but I will accuse anyone based on basically nothing to gain some attention
1) police put out press release looking for a white Elantra (sp?) 2) Reddit post 3) welfare check for presumably the same employee mentioned in the post 4) address for that welfare check on Google maps shows white car parked out front 5) guilty
Unknown if real - Facebook post about an employee who always carried around hunting knife, always on time to work, aggitaed easily, stopped showing up to work for a week after murders Factual - Welfare check on an employee who did not show up to work. Address given on welfare check is very close to the murder site, and google street view of address has the car the police are asking about.
The google maps picture is likely months / years old as well? If that’s what you are referring to? Now if someone could show this guy has been living at that address for three years, or he owns the car, then it gets going.
Google maps for that street was updated 10/2021 I don’t know why I felt compelled to share this useless fact
Alright, actually this is kind of wild. Google maps has 3 updates on that street available 10/2021, 09/2013, and 10/2007. Am I seeing this right that there is a different white Elantra in each picture? When someone said earlier there are a lot of these cars in Idaho, they weren’t mistaken.
Fwiw, when jon Benet Ramsey was killed, I literally nailed the curb by Jones drugm flat tire on the way to a church my roommates mom wanted to go to. My car was parked in front of their house for like a week starting that night. Never got contacted. Don't expect much
