I may be way off base here, but my wife is 7 years younger than me. She is unbelievably intelligent or I would have had no interest in her outside of sex. That said, if I am ever single again, there's no way that I would have intentions on dating people my age. I'm not saying that it's a hard no, but I would definitely prefer women in their early 20s over women in their early 40s. Lucky for us, I do not look better than the last shit that Leo took so my options will be limited in this hypothetical tragedy.

If you look at the totality of our media, the definition of “beauty” is basically just “young white women between the ages of 18 & 25.” I get why a heterosexual male would want to have sex with those women. And because Leonardo is who he is, he’s able to make that happen when he wants it to. But actually “dating” someone should be about more than just a desire to have sex with them. It should be about mutual respect and admiration. And the farther apart that age gap is, the less likely it seems like that’s going to happen.
The personal subjectiveness as a litmus test for morality, what is right or wrong, is problematic bc it doesn’t depend on any hard, concrete, easy to nail down, logic, science, or data. It’s all anecdotal and personally subjective. Some posters itt are incapable or unwilling to draw hard lines or give specific definitions. They need examples to lord over. It’s all contingent on their “feels” and “vibes” a specific situation, age gap, or person gives them. It’s elastic. Which is problematic if say one were a fat slob who has always been unsuccessful with women and internalizes their own shortcomings/lack of options and pukes out this virtue signaling, hyperbolic cope to feel superior, compensate for their lack of options. Or maybe they simply don’t like the person for a myriad of other reasons and it influences how they choose to perceive any situation involving that person.
