Wayyy late, but the dude sounds like he is having a psychotic break or he is off his meds. That doesn’t mean that he is dangerous. People will mental health issues are not more inherently violent than the rest of the population.

Although if the delusions get bad enough/untreated it may result some problematic scenarios. People that are so lost in their psychosis to that point look as crazy what is occurring in their mind.

I just reread this post and all I have to say is a lesser man would have said something like:

Not stalker related, but didn't know a better thread to post this in.

Cops just showed up at our house (moved in 2-3 months ago) and said that a 911 call was just made from our property then quickly hung up ("before 911 could take down the number") and they were checking in to make sure everything was ok. Neither of us made a call to 911 off our cell phones, we don't have a landline, don't know anyone else who was at the property, etc.

Our security cameras don't show anyone on our property this evening. Is it some sort of operator error at 911? Could cops just be making up some story to check out the house (and/or maybe there's some threat they don't want to tell us about)? Just seems odd to show up like that and 911 operators to not have a number but claim the call was made from our property
