No, this is nowhere near the first time he's had some of the most stupid opinions. He's definitely much farther to the right than AOC, Omar, and Talib.
Fuck this Union busting piece of shit so much. Would be awesome to see the Dem controlled Senate (supposedly) actually really punish him.
This congressman went to Selma and came away with the idea that we need more police officers? I can’t imagine commemorating an event known for police officers beating protesters and then coming back to advocate for more officers, not more funding for schools, hospitals, healthcare, nope just more police officers is the answer.
he has been slowly taking positions that are essentially alt-right. Pretty bizarre. think he was featured on a Matt Gaetz documentary about how they are bff.
https://astraeagoods.com/products/reagan-ruined-everything-cap-preorder $30 is a little steep but well worth it
might cop that camo 'reagan ruined everything' cap for the irony and such edit: might get one for my dad too. No person on this planet hated(s) Reagan more than my pop.
I wish they made it in red so MAGA assholes would think you’re one of them and then get up close to read it and BAM it hits them but then they would have to actually know how to read
Passed someone wearing a red “made you look snowflake” hat the other day. I’m disappointed in myself for not tripping him.
Is this what Sinema is running as? Because counterpoint, it would be fun to primary her out of this shitty ass party.
Someone posted a tweet/article a few weeks back showing the bullshit behind the egg price increase and how it led to record profits for the egg manufactures. Anyone know where to find it?
I’ll be honest, I don’t know how they do it. My moms been in three different types of facilities the last five years, and one of my thoughts when I leave is how can these people (not all nurses but help staff) do that every day while making nothing. Also to add when every patient pays enough to buy a mansion (5500-8k/month).
I think you know this, but we went through this with my MIL, who likely had lewy-body dementia, where she able to go to some nice places since she had quite a retirement account. Sadly even when it's not outright intentional there's so much neglect if there's not ample amounts of workers specifically in the memory care facilities especially if they're immobile, I mean who's going to sign up for that when it should pay 3-4x for the actual physical and emotional labor involved? She got hospitalized bad after the second place she went to (first place wouldn't use a mechanical grinder to soften up her food) and that basically did her in, only lived a few months after that but thankfully was at a proper home with a hospice nurse.
What's so great about single stair buildings? Does a 2nd staircase cost too much? Is the 2nd staircase rule made to prohibit some types of buildings?
https://www.theurbanist.org/2021/12/20/seattles-lead-on-single-stair-buildings/ tldr is hugely wasteful of space and money with no known benefit, relic of pre-war construction regs when buildings were much more prone to fire by enormous amounts
single stair multi family buildings are a need and washington state about the only place making progress towards it
Proper structures have one long staircase just going up and one even longer coming down, and one more leading nowhere just for show
TN reps filing a bill that basically says they can ignore any federal action they deem unconstitutional
Don’t ignore the part of MarkWayne’s wiki where he dabbled in MMA, or the part where he seemingly deemed himself Cherokee.
Woo boy, we're really accelerating the next break up of the US and I would bet my life savings this Supreme Court will 100% let TN get away with it.
