He will be a solid Will linebacker. Needs to put on size but he will get there. Kid is an athlete and can run
Apparently Donovan Smith is slotted as the starter at LT already. Really hope they miracle La'El Collins as an UDFA and are using that as subterfuge. Marpet slotted as the starter at RG btw. Not gonna lie, I have a bad feeling about this.
Won't freak out about rookies until they look bad in mini-camps or things of that nature. I guy like Barksdale is still out there in FA in we need to make a run at him. We probably won't get Collins because of the rookie pool. Miami and Buffalo are probably prime candidates as they'll probably have the most money left over.
Smith's film in passing situations was underwhelming. I can see why they said he was a prototypical RT as he is a mauler and and can really run block but I cant believe they thought he was the best pick to protect their #1 pick's blindside.
Greg Auman @gregauman · New odds to win NFC South in 2015 from @BovadaLV: Falcons 2:1 Panthers 2:1 Saints 9:4 Bucs 15:2.
We're a lot closer to winning our division then our 2-14 record indicates. The NFC South is terrible. If Jameis can acclimate quickly and doesn't revert to 1st half Jameis, we've got a real good chance to win the division.
If Jameis lives up to his draft spot, I'd say we're a pass rusher and game changing rb away from seriously competing
Holy shit! 2-14 guys 2 and fucking 14. No offense to my bros itt but damn let me guess you all thought fsu was coming back against Oregon last year. This team is three years away
At halftime? I hadn't ruled it out, but I knew it'd catch up with us eventually. Dalvin's fumbles took care of that.
I don't think we really have unreasonable expectations. 1 loss every couple of years shouldn't be too much to ask.
From the Superbowl, definitely. But the South is terrible. We could win it this year if Winston plays well.
I don't represent the FSU fan base. I represent the revived boner that is the Bucs boner. We are at chub level with getting Winston
Team is multiple pieces away from even making the playoffs, IMO. I'd expect 6 wins next year and I also expect Jameis to skruggle early on. The defense is building and I like where the DL is headed with signing Melton, but we're still short 2 safeties, DEs, and an SLB. Lansanah is solid, I'm not completely sold. His versatility helps, though. Biggest improvement should be OL. Now short a C and an OT. Dietrich-Smith is a stop gap.
He's going to throw some REALLY dumb INT's. His football IQ is off the charts but I think his confidence level will make him slower then most to learn he can't fit it in windows he use to. I see him struggling this year like Manning did his first year out of the gates with a shitty Colts team....lot of mistakes but flashes of brilliance. So just to reiterate and clarify...he will have Peyton's career numbers with Brady's rings.
agreed we've got an incredibly easy schedule in a horrible division, and we lost 9 games by 1 possession (including losing on purpose vs the saints). I know "you are what your record is" but a good QB will go a long way. I don't think 8-8 or better is out of the question at all this year given our schedule
Winston jersey gonna take 2-3 weeks to get here. I want it NOW! Wear that bitch to the office like an asshole
We are already way better now that we have a legit offensive coordinator. When Tedford had to leave for medical reasons we were fucked. The guy replacing him had no nfl experience...best job was oc of southern miss..
I liked you better when you swore you'd leave this thread when Jameis got drafted. You lied to us. We don't like liars.
