Crazy it turned out so well with all of the rumors of bringing in a different director to finish the film and all that.
I heard something on NPR about the score being written in some comically small amount of time, like a week
https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/disneyland-star-wars-galaxys-edge-preview/index.html?gallery=12 CNN was doing so well until they got to that last picture.
started the Inside Star Wars pod... not a huge fan of the style. There are dozens of SWs pods... any recommendations for one that does a good history of the series instead of talking about current events?
Blast Points is good. They dont take themselves too seriously and dont get over mushy about how Star Wars saved their life in some way, like most Star Wars pods do.
Didn’t realize it was just the one guy. I appreciate the effort and it had a few details that I hadn’t heard before but yeah it’s a bit style over substance.
Force unleashed two has beautiful game mechanics. Story sucked. And was about five hours long. But great mechanics.
Alphabet Squadron was good. A lot of set up, for what looks like a really good trilogy. And it was much better than the first Aftermath Book, which is a very low bar.
It's not a bad movie. It got killed by all the bad press leading up to it. If it had been released with normal star wars hype, it would have been well received. Certainly not up to Rogue One's level, but nothing to be ashamed of. To steal from Marvel, it would have been a Doctor Strange tier reception.
I have virtually no issues with Solo. It worked on a fun level, it worked visually, the acting was better than most SW films. Good fun all around.
anyone that still chooses to give EA their money deserves whatever dumbfuck shady nonsense EA throws at them.
