If you want a really well done dinner and enjoy Italian, check out Spuntino in Highlands. Not too far from Linger area. I love eating there. So well done.
also love Uncle for Ramen. There is new one near your Air bnb. Be prepared to put your name in and leave for an hour
I like seeing this recommended by others. Olde Town Arvada is always very close for us and I’m a huge fan of this place. I also think New Image is one of the better/most underrated breweries in a city that has plenty of great ones
How’s Denver as far as waking around goes? I don’t mind Uber but my wife and I prefer walking around and just finding shit to do. Also, how’s parking in Denver if we do drive?
You can pretty much walk all over the city. I didn’t own a car there for like 8 years. parking in and around downtown sucks.
You’re all the best. Last question is my wife wants to know if there are any good wineries worth visiting in the area. I’m done after this.
Re: breweries in Denver.... I only had a few hours, but went to Cerebral, TRVE, and Baere. All were great and would wholly recommend all of them.
Would definitely agree on Infinite Monkey Theorem as far as a winery goes. There are some good wine bars too. Barcelona (close to Infinite Monkey Theorem), Postino LoHi, and The Truffle Table are some of the top wine bars. Postino does really good happy hour deals (it gets busy) on Sundays.
Anyone want Mac Demarco red rocks tix? Have 2 GA and will sell them for what I bought them via presale. im going to vampire weekend next Wednesday and thus am considering selling so I’m not going to two concerts in 3-4 days
Hello yes. First time walking Around downtown and I love this city. Full disclosure I'm a littledrunk but I found a kebab chain and all is right with the world
So I walked around Lodo near a Union station. Went to Fresh Craft, met up with my cousin who I haven't seen in 15 years who lives in Littleton. Thanks got reading my tweet
I’ll be there Friday. Go spray a bunch of aerosols in the air for the next week to get that temperature up for me.
I tried to drop off all my moving boxes at the Aurora recycling dropoff and it was apparently closed for "emergency repairs". Id love to know what broke so badly that things can't be dropped into a dumpster
If any of y'all want a washer/dryer, a street bike, or a wood twin bed frame, I'll give you the friends and family discount. Trying to downsize my house a bit
I checked out Ironton Distillery in RINO West yesterday and highly recommend. They had a “bourbon” that was dangerously smooth, a Colorado absinthe and some Scandinavian liquor, and do $9 sampler flights.
Work yesterday: roads are a little slushy guys; unless you're mission essential come in three hours late Work today: hey I know there's 5 inches of snow on the road and it's going to get worse all day but be sure to be here on time so we can change our minds two hours later and send you home again.
Tomorrow might be the worst of it given the 12-14 hour forecast. definitely taking my laptop home but this town is just too damn proud to shut down
Yeah we're not anticipating going in tomorrow morning right now. Still get to wake up at 0430 to get the official word
Didn't go in yesterday (I have to commute from Arvada to Boulder) and had an incredibly productive day not having to waste my time in traffic. Most of our office did the same. Today all of my team came in, including me, despite the forecast calling for snow all day. We all are already plotting on leaving early and likely not coming in tomorrow. Haven't really gotten a whole bunch done that I couldn't have done at home.
Mile High Spirits distillery has pretty decent bourbon, apparently has live-band karaoke on Sunday, and the bartender is like a 9
I've seen this place before but we've never stopped by. We'll be in town all Thanksgiving week to see fiancee's family so I'll have to make it happen this time
I think I'm moving when my lease is up in February. I love Rino but I'm sick of paying $1700+ a month in rent for a 1 br
nah, just tired of texas and absolutely i am. i ski and love to camp/hike. needed to move to a place that would accept me when i boof a gallon of kombucha a day probably gonna live in Rino
Plus I want to get a dog and I work in Westminster so they'd be home alone for 11 hours a day. I'm thinking Arvada or maybe Westminster so I could let them out on my lunch break. Yeah the burbs suck but I think it'd be worth it
Well welcome. I’m in lohi. Have no real thoughts about best downtown place to live. Lots of good choices
