I forgot they dropped the f bomb in the finale. I laughed pretty good when Dean told Abed his head is fucked up.
I too am making my girlfriend watch for the first time. It was a slow start for her but she’s completely on board now.
So this may be because I haven’t watched Community in a while and only watched the gas leak year when it originally aired but the wife and I finished season 4 today and I didn’t hate it. You can tell Harmon was gone but there were still some great moments and I enjoyed it for the most part
I learned from the darkest timeline podcast that the reason the timelines episode was out of order (4th episode of season 3 instead of the 3rd) is because they were still filming for it on the Monday before it aired on Thursday and that that wasn’t a completely uncommon occurrence on the show.
I don't know if I liked any episode as a whole but there were several moments I laughed just as hard at as I did previous years. That's a credit to three years of character development I guess.
First time watcher here. Season 4 is brutal without Harmon. It’s very obvious how much the tone of the show shifts. After Troy leaves the show falls apart. I flew through the first 5 seasons. It’s taken me 2+ weeks to watch the first few episodes of season 6.
I still enjoy seasons 5 and 6. Probably just because I'm a big fan of the characters. It's clear Abed was never the same after Troy left. They tried pairing him with Annie a lot but it was never the same.
Troy stole the show yet again. Even the rest of the cast can’t hold it together when he talks. It’s amazing. Also the guy they got to ask the questions had never read the script before. Watching him read the last part when he was handing out the sperm was hilarious.
It worked out so well that he has never read the script before. Made it funnier than if they had got Walton Goggins to do it again.
very common with TV shows until the last decade or so. Network execs forcing episodes to be played based on which episode is going to get the best ratings in a given week rather than telling the story in order.
It was great. Amazing how 8 of the best 10 lines belong to Troy. And his delivery is good. pascale and the sperm was great
More shows should forgo reunions and do those. It was cool to hear them all gush about the show and reminisce. Glover was pretty glowing. also, Jim Rash is hilarious. crazy that McHale could recall so little about the show, yet hosts a podcast about it.
Just hit the epi in season 6 where the Japanese kid is catfishing the Dean...forgot how good this was
Just got to remedial chaos theory on my rewatch. I’m going to go as fast as I can so I don’t miss anything.
Just starting season two. The gifs make sense now. Also, this show has provided the most legitimate laughs I can think of. Chevy Chase still has (had) it.
Advanced dungeons and dragons got pulled for the dark elf scene. Just edit out the tag and get one of the best episodes back up please.
