Just finished Act 2 Spoiler First RDR2 and now this....why is a horse dying the saddest thing in video games?
After you fully upgrade your sword and bow, are there further upgrades for weapons in Act 3? If not I need to switch out my charms Don't know if this needs spoiling but will just in case Spoiler is the Ghost armor the last armor you get? If so I'm going to blow all of my materials on upgrading it then the rest of my armors
beginning of the game Spoiler “they will be with you for the entirety of your adventure” fucking liars
I love how there are so many cool looks in this game. I've probably sported 4-5 different armor, headband/hat, face covering looks.
Y’all I pretty much just started Act 1 and I think I’m going to love this game. It had been 6 days since I played the intro tutorial, so I had already forgotten the controls. Took me a minute, but I’ve done a haiku, helped some lady, climbed a shrine, etc. The climbing really reminded me of HZD, the horse riding reminded me of Witcher, and the combat is just fun while not being button mashy. I also like the limited inventory. It’s not overwhelming like Witcher.
Rocking the headband of death and brutal bandits face covering now. Was wearing the charred wanderers hat for a while
Headband of death and usually rocking travelers attire. I’m a couple missions away from completing it and I’m torn between knocking it out or elongating it. The game is amazing though, beautiful graphics, and the combat is so much fun
Think I may finally bite the bullet and complete the main story. I’ve been putting it off for as long as I could.
Completed it last night; what a great game. I have all of the exploration done, but I’m missing 34 banners, 13 records, 9 artifacts, and 7 crickets. This is my worst nightmare
I’ve just been putting it off and basically saving it for as long as I could. Can’t game that much with the newborn anyways so just try to knock one or two things out when I get a chance.
Been trying to collect things but seems like a lot. I'll probably get all of the fox dens and hot springs.
I like charging straight into it and fighting. Not sure what that’s called but I’ll consider it Leeeerooyyyy Jenkins
Just spent thirty minutes southeast of the Komatsu forge trying to figure out why my travelers attire was vibrating like I was near something. Never figured it out.
Really liking the Kensei armor. That recharge rate is pretty sweet. Probably buff my Goshun armor next because it looks badass.
I keep forgetting to switch out of my travelers attire when I get into a fight and then I'm sitting there wondering why I'm getting my shit kicked in.
I almost want to replay the game on the hardest difficulty. Just felt like the duels should’ve been harder, so I didn’t allow myself to use any of the power ups or whatever
Whoa, so the upgraded Gosaku armor is the shit for combat. That stagger increase is unreal. You can just burn through large groups
I have become shit at standoffs, I feel like I’m in my own head. I’m in Act 3 now and probably sub 25%
For you guys that are missing some collectibles, don't forget you can track most of them individually with the Travellers armor
I just did that one the other day so it wasn’t that bad because I’m maxed out on all technique points for everything now
Now that I'm maxed out in technique I avoid almost all of those roads confrontations. I think I have one more armor to upgrade to max and those are totally upgraded so I don't really need supplies.
I’ve been doing what I did with Witcher, which is to hit every single question mark as I go through the storyline and keep the map as clear as possible. Hopefully I’ll be overpowered as a result.
What do you mean by easier armor loadouts? I hope the sequel has a bunch more armor sets, and maybe have different perks for each part of the body you equip things. Like you said, though, just minor complaints. I agree about the variety in kill animations, too
