Peaky Blinders is one of the better time investments you can make wrt tv/movies. Upper 25%. A-tier. Black Summer season 2 is pretty intense, I dug it.
Agreed one of my favorites. The next season is taking way too long. The acting, music, characters, story are all great. It's a show I binge for each new season.
Following a tragic car accident in Greece, Beckett, an American tourist, finds himself at the center of a dangerous political conspiracy – and on the run for his life.
The first movie of the RL Stine Fear Street trilogy drops tomorrow on Netflix, currently hovering around 90% on RT
Liked S1 cliffhanger better than S2, good season, but the finale felt like a let down to me. Obviously it ties into Z Nation but just wanted something else, but I’m not a writer, so what do I know
I'm through season 2....it's really damn good. Cinematography is absolutely phenomenal. The suits the characters wear are just fucking awesome too. It's not the best Netflix original series though. That's still House of Cards.
I would pick any of Narcos, Ozark, or Stranger Things over House of Cards, also Peaky Blinders isn’t an original Netflix series.
In regards to Black Summer: It’s good, but it bugs me that the zombies actions are inconsistent. There are some chase scenes that don’t make sense. Plus, why do people turn into zombies when they aren’t bitten?
Thanks for this. Moving it up the list. Less than thrilled with current show. Also random side note, The Lodge, (Hulu was AMC show) was a good watch. It’s not overly complex just like a weird AMC dialog show with some strange happenings. It’s not going to be the best thing you’ve ever seen but it’s enjoyable.
Somos (we are) based from what I understand a massacre by the Zetas cartel is pretty good so far. I’ve started reading about it a little and shocker but seems like the US played a part.
Follows the walking dead guidelines as far as everyone has the virus already so if you die and don’t get your brains destroyed you turn.
1) Don’t stop watching. It’s amazing but does take a little time to catch its stride. S1 is def the slowest 2) Once you change your attitude come visit us in the thread on the TV board 3) the actress that played Poly Gray died from cancer this year before they started filming the final season. Not sure how that’s gonna affect the last season + movie they’re making afterwards
GF tried to get me to start bingeing Outlander with her. first thought was I hated it because the male lead is Edmure Tully. 10min in I thought I may enjoy it because boobs and then an eerie Druid ceremony. Fell asleep around the time I realized it was a period piece romance show. so now she has something to do while I watch Euros and NBA playoffs
I caught up and saw you started liking it. I’d be surprised if someone said they didn’t after seasons 2-3. Not sure what season Tom Hardy shows up and if you watch shows with subtitles but… yes
my wife loves that shit. I watched a couple episodes because “time traveling show done by the guy behind battlestar galactica.” Ahh…nope
Spoiler Oh shit!! Tommy Carcetti just showed up on horseback to shoot and kill Italians.....Let's goooooo!!!!!! *I'm watching Peaky Blinders
my GF will literally watch any show or movie that's a period piece focused on women. I had no idea how many of those there were until Covid started.
I don't think I deserve a congrats for falling asleep during an episode of television but I'll take what I can get these days.
What a fucking end to season 4 of Peaky Blinders!!! Great television. Looking forward to watching season 5 tomorrow.
Im still not sure; the first 20 minutes really put me off with the over the top high school drama, but after that it settled in ok.
My fiance watched it and I watched in protest but involuntarily said "nice" every time a song came on
Fear Street 84 question Spoiler If the witch didn't actually die when they drowned the girl, why did her henchmen disappear and stop pursuing? One had the sledgehammer inches from little man's head
My wife started watching it with my 11 year old, thinking because it's Fear Street, it's for kids....find out quickly it was NOT.
Spoiler . I think it’s just more of spirit thing. The spirit of the witch backed off when the girl died. Then the spirit realized she was alive again and like they said… she will never stop.
World's Greatest Vacation Rentals - culturally insensitive. Geared to middlebrow millennials. Moderately entertaining to binge
It's definitely all about living that life that makes you look good on Instagram. Also has super emotional Luis as one of the hosts of the show for my MDLNY bros. Which is perfect casting.
Just finished part 1 of Fear Street. Really liked it. Starting part 2 now but I could see this being a re-watch trilogy come Halloween time. Pretty brutal.
A devastated husband (Jason Momoa) vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter (Isabela Merced).
