To compensate for the larger number of teams, I reduced roster sizes from 26 to 19 and starters from 22 to 16 in accordance with the changes made to the ESPN standard leagues. This will mean a shorter draft and more interesting waiver wire options if you have a guy hurt and need to replace him. There are no changes to the scoring categories. Rosters will have: - One each of C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, UTL - Three OF - Seven P - Three bench spots - Two IL spots So far, I believe I have still only have received money from Pokes , if I'm wrong, please remind me and I'll add you to the paid list. A few changes I made: - Due to the larger league size, I bumped the playoff teams from 4 to 6. Top two seeds will have a bye for the first round. Each round is two weeks long. - To allow for the two-week playoff period, the regular season was reduced from 21 weeks to 19 (You'll face your division opponents twice and the other division's teams once) - Removed season acquisition limit - Dropped trade review time from 2 days to 1. - Added an additional IL spot (from 2 to 3)

same here. And I just read the league rules AFTER the draft, like an idiot, and noticed that there is a 40 innings pitched minimum each week. The way my roster is presently constructed there is no way in hell I’m getting to 40 each week. Gonna have to make some moves lol The 14 team league is going to be challenging. I’ve only done up to 12 and even then thought the rosters were incredibly thin. I mean the draft last night my 9th pick was 120th or so, which is around the spot where it becomes potential bum territory. And the waiver wire? That shit is straight trash (along with a lot of my roster). I’m excited tho cus it should make things more interesting. wish ESPN would do draft grades or projections for teams like they do with football (I couldn’t find that this morning). While fundamentally useless, I would like to know if after the draft they consider my team to finish dead last or not
Oh and I drafted a player who was optioned to the minors last week and took tatis with my 2cd overall pick but he’s suspended until nearly may for PEDs. So he is going to be chilling for months in one of my limited bench spots. Smh
That's my bad on the IP minimum, I forgot to adjust it for the roster size changes; it's now a minimum of 30 IP per week.
No worries. I’m pretty sure 40 is standard. But that is helpful thank you. If you want to trade me one of your starting pitchers I could still use one tho lol
40 was probably standard when the standard league had nine pitchers; with 7, you would have to have almost six innings a week of work per pitcher, which is pretty crazy in the modern game and limits the viability of using relievers.
