for those that may want to start building for future years at some point, are we allowed to trade players for picks in next years draft? (keeping total picks even, i.e. making sure you give back a late pick for an early pick included in the transaction).
I will check on this when I get home. A lot of LM stuff is only available on a PC. On a separate note, I’m thinking we may need to increase IL slots next year. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m absolutely slammed right now.
Have to increase IL with 18 teams as there’s no free agents so you’re stuck with opening day roster. Which for me personally this season is bad news :(
Bryson Stott has been awful. I finally bench him and he hits 2 homers in his 1st 2 AB’s. Just have to laugh
How do keepers work with the few guys that don’t get on and set their lineup? I’m assuming they get the boot next year?
how do keepers work, generally? For example, let’s say I keep 5 players. Do I lose my first 5 draft picks or how does that work exactly?
I thought if you keep say a guy you drafted in 3rd round, you don’t get a 3rd round pick. If you picked up a guy on FA and keep them, you don’t pick at the end of draft. At least that’s what I had in mind. Could be wrong.
and if you traded for a player, where ever that player was drafted you lose that pick for that round?
i played in a TMB keeper league from 09-14 & that’s the way it was done. each additional year you kept said player, the pick you forfeited went up a round.
I think you should be rewarded with having keepers from later rounds or working the waiver wire but good with whatever the group wants.
Just want to confirm tho, players we trade for and players we pick up via free agency are eligible for keepers, right? I hate my team and hate myself for the team I’ve put together
sucks that we can’t trade players for picks. i have enough potential keepers so have no motivation to trade any established players for anything.
What is the plan for the guys that don’t get on and keepers with their roster? If we ever need a replacement, I know someone that would do it and be very involved.
Try to get somebody else to take over their roster. If not, we’ll cut the league size down and those players will be added back to the draft pool.
ESPN & their app suck….have two players that are IL eligible (one for almost 24 hours) & they’re not designated IL in the system. they also have added no player notes for any player in 6 days.
Wait four months for Senga, he’s lights out for five innings, then a calf strain and out for the rest of the year :-/ Yah.
can we get a rule clarification on the 1,000 inning minimum and 200 start max? looks like if you don't hit the 1k innings minimum, you go to last in the whip and era cats, correct? what about going over the 200 starts cap? same approach or different bc seems to me, the impact of going over 200 starts affects QS, W, innings, Ks even more.....i may have missed it on the espn site
