The wife of a couple that are best friends with my wife and I has parents who are members there. Supposed to be getting a guys' trip to go back in the next couple of weeks. Having someone who plays the course regularly (and I play with regularly) should be a big help. Haven't gotten to play the course yet. Took that pic when we went to dinner a couple weeks ago at the restaurant. Pumped to play it in a couple weeks.
I have these red/gray wool head covers... took them off otherwise the bag pic would have been pointless. Not a big fan of the iron head covers.
Kinda want to go play a few rounds with my dads old set of eye 2's after seeing that 1-iron. \ On that note, my dad has saved my old set of kids (orange dot) eye 2's for his grandchildren. Received an unsolicitied offer to sell them right after I got a new set of clubs in like 6th grade and refuses to ever part with them. God I loved those clubs
I have the full set of black dot beryllium copper eye-2s. I could get 4-500 for the set but I will never sell them.
Those new clubs are begging for the sweet protection of some nice head covers. You all have them, right?
I've never been a fan of Ping but would love to be sitting on a set of the copper (or nickel) Eye 2's
Ping Eye2 1-iron is the GOAT club for tee shots when your driver is sucking dick by the ball washer. Used it in HS and College for any hole < ~380 because it hit a nice 230 yard draw down the middle every time. This page makes me want to go on ebay and see how much one would cost me
no I'm playing alone because we're on a time crunch cause the wedding is at 6. so Im taking the earlier tee time which is also more expensive and Im the only one thatll pay the extra 30 bucks. also 2 of the guys only know the bachelor and the other guy is the bachelors brother
Got fitted for new irons yesterday and decided to go with the Taylormade RSi 1's with dynamic gold steel shafts. Also went ahead and ordered new blue/black golf pride grips for the irons and my remaining clubs. Should be ready in 2 weeks, I'm very excite.
Solid 9 today. Could've easily broken 40 with slightly more accurate approach shots. Left it just off the edge of the green, pin high, multiple times. Chip in birdie on 7 felt real nice.
Honestly not sure how that works. I've never seen the tees further out, so I don't know how that's determined.
Oh, for anyone that's interested, these TM Speedblades are ridiculous. They've added 20 yards to all of my irons. I'm hitting PW 150 now. It may have more to do with how shitty my old Nikes were, but this game is so much more fun with these irons.
