OT, but sharing as a reminder for those who want to participate again, I know this has been discussed here previous years (and thanks for the heads up Hotmic)
So for this soccer game being played at Ohio Stadium this Summer. Any thoughts on why B deck would cost more than A deck here?
Interesting, it shows up on the second slide if you view it in instagram, but is only a black and white still pic when viewing on TMB here. All good sir! Perhaps my operating system needs to check for an update!!
I'm as excited to see Judkins as I am to see Caleb. He runs more pissed off than anyone at OSU since at least Zeke
Former buckeye (staffer), happy for him, this seems like a great opportunity for him after also being considered to be the new OSU AD
Our line pushed Michigan's front around at times last year. They broke down when it mattered most. I think they'll be improved this year.
I can’t imagine our OL being any worse given the talent we recruit. I think having a TE that can actually block will help tremendously
I need to see improvement to believe it. We had one great drive against Michigan, but ran for 107 total on the day. Our two best OL had a critical break down in pass protection that led to the hurry/interception on our final play. The Missouri game might be our worst OL performance since we got shut out by Clemson in 2016. I think they can be a decent OL in 2024. They have not shown any consistency yet.
We only had one drive against Michigan where we ran the ball well. The rest of the game was mediocre pass and run blocking like we saw the entire season. Positive people will spin that to mean the one drive is their potential. Negative people will spin it to be a one drive fluke. Team go get a portal tackle in the spring because I don't want to see Fryar starting there again.
I would love to see Jelani Thurman take the TE spot. I like Simmons. I think Hinzman can improve. I’m hopeful the Alabama transfer can be good. Jackson and Fryar are lazy. They drive me crazy because they half ass every block and put minimal effort toward it.
I am interested to see if Howard adds to the running game. Stroud and McCord added nothing to it. We have not had a starting QB rush for a TD since Fields was here.
The run game was very good when Henderson was back healthy. After seeing what that Michigan front did to Alabama and Washington, it's hard to be too rough on them. The Missouri game sucked but we're not going to see Vihami again and it's impossible to run when you have zero threat passing.
This isn’t a great comparison, but Henderson reminds me of a faster version of Michael Wiley. He can hit it for a big run at any time, but he’s not great on 3rd and 3 when you have to get that first down. I’m hoping Quishon Judkins is that guy. I also hope we get 5-6 solid runs by a QB a game this year.
Birm said on the most recent episode of talking stuff that he visited Missouri out of the blue this past weekend, sounded pretty odd, wonder if he’s chasing a bag? Either way, it does seem like osu has plenty of other options at the position right now.
