there's trash on the field every week at Tennessee home games but because people brought in more of it from the stands everyone is throwing a hissy
Calm down. Neyland isn't Estadio Azteca, as much as I'd like it to be. The refs mad a series of shitty calls, and people got mad tossed some shit.
lol at the attempt to minimize throwing golf balls and other projectiles at the opposing players and justify that was somehow okay because you don't like the refs choices
I wildly disagree. But, as a visiting fan to Knoxville, you can walk Market Square fulling done up in what team, and ideally get a burger at Stock and Barrel (seriously you should try and eat there). And people will very friendly and tell you to fuck off on game day.
Is this some risible shit, coming from an Alabama fan. I'm aware of how the people around me vote. Throwning shit on the field is tacky and bad. But people care about UT football again. No one got hurt.
Refusing to place responsibility for the unacceptable actions of the Tennessee fans on the fans themselves by suggesting their actions were justified because other people made them upset is beyond tacky and bad. It’s the same mindset as the MAGA fascists who justify their actions against others on utter bullshit. Sorry if that upsets you.
I like you. The football team you went to school at will most likely beat mine. You make no sense here, because you're more drunk than I am.
everything that happened in that stadium was the same audience that ran Greg Schiano off for a scandal at Penn State (led by Clay Travis among other cult leaders)
Not looking to pick a fight. I understand that was an emotional loss after 15 years of frustration. I suggest you sleep it off and wait for a clear mind in the morning. Then, if you still think Tennessee fans shouldn't be ridiculed and held accountable for their inexcusable actions because of some calls which did not go the Vols way, you should re-evaluate things.
Apparently Lane tossing his visor to the Vol faithful post-game is a bit of a tradition at this point:
Lmbo. You're clearly looking to pick a fight. I'd prefer you come to Knoxville, We'd hit up the cooler restaurant in downtown. Have a few beers. Very chill. But I'll happily to come to Tuscaloosa, and kick your happy meal ass all up and down Main Street if you want.
Lol, I really am not, at least not any more than just pointing out that I think that any Vols fan excusing what happened because of them being upset at the refs is wrong. Perhaps that did pick a fight unintentionally, especially comparing it to MAGA excuses for their fascism. Perhaps I shouldn’t have responded at all considering how emotional the loss was. But I did. No go to sleep and tomorrow will be better.
It’s unacceptable behavior that’s a poor reflection on the fan base that’s filled with an overwhelming majority of good people
I wouldn’t sweat it, it’s not nearly as embarrassing as when our stadium cheered for Donald Trump before losing to LSU
