Updated story with more info: Multiple reports from ESPN, The Athletic and the Detroit Free Press say that Tucker has been suspended with pay pending results of Title IX investigation, NOT fired. His hearing is set for Oct. 5th or 6th. The Action Network's Brett McMurphy, who reported Tucker was fired, says MSU "will wait until investigation is completed to make move official." The school has scheduled a press conference for 5 p.m. "to address the football program," where clarity on the situation should be provided.
The ultimate outcome and penalty? Rutgers will no longer be able to use OUR creation "CHOP" because it will trigger rape victims thanks to MSU and their fucking weirdo pervert coach (and let's face it, entire AD) thanks to Tuck's thievery and bastardization of it.
Didn't realize he was fired. Change my post to read "Ironic, subsequent but ultimately inevitable penalty".
i was a plaintiff's employment lawyer ( a bad one, admittedly) but i dont see any universe in which he gets paid.
Virginia at Maryland -13.5 Penn State (7) at Illinois +15.5 Louisville at Indiana +10 Ga Southern at Wisconsin -16 Minnesota at North Carolina (20) -6.5 Northwestern at Duke (21) -20 WMU at Iowa (25) -27 Va Tech at Rutgers -4.5 WKU at Ohio State (6) -27.5 Washington (8) at MSU +16 No Illinois at Nebraska -12.5 BG at Michigan (2) -39.5 Syracuse at Purdue -2.5 Iowa missed 25 again this week, scoring 20. Iowa needs to average 25.6 points a game moving forward to keep nepotism alive.
It’s going to be utterly surreal turning on the MSU game next weekend and seeing Dantonio on the sideline coaching.
How the fuck are we 27 point favorites? We haven’t even scored 27 a game yet? Bet the house on western Michigan to cover. Our run game still sucks, it’s a disgrace to the conference. Good game Nebraska, eat shit.
I have no idea. I’ve watched this team long enough to never bet the spread on Gopher football. Our secondary has looked great but the QBs they’ve faced are bad passers.
Are you talking about last year’s game when a team on a 5 game losing streak came on the road and beat your team who was going to the Big Ten Championship if you won? Otherwise, I am confused because we haven’t played each other since then.
No, I’m actually referencing the two games you have played this season, choking away a win against the Goofs and then getting man handled by a transfer portal team. Keep on Huskering.
Colorado would blow the doors off of everyone not named OSU, UM and PSU in conference. Not saying the buffs are world beaters but the drop off after those schools is that bad. Trying to take huskers to task for losing to them…how do you think Iowa would fair against Deion‘s team?
The new clock rules are showing pretty effective to limit opponent possessions if a team wants to shorten opportunities. Youngstown State milked the shit out of the clock against us.
That was part of my thinking. We haven’t been tested extremely hard but our defense looks good again…16 points allowed in 2 games with the only TD being when Nebraska QB dropped a throwback pass and our CB thought the play was over; 4 yards of second half offense for EMU. If our offense is successful we will run a lot which kills clock. If it’s not successful we probably won’t score enough for the Over to hit. The variable that could make the prediction go wrong is we turn the ball over a lot and get boat raced.
We had three possessions the entire second half. It’s a good recipe for a team that does not play a quick score offense.
Oh yeah, and we seemed to have a freshman RB emerge. True freshman Darius Taylor rushed for 193 in his first significant game action.
Our short yard run game is bad, but we also only punted three times in this game. YSU made a concerted effort to limit possessions, and it’s a decent strategy against our offense because we can hit big plays with our WR. Rabid noted to bet the under in the Minny-NC game, which is how this discussion started. If Minnesota can run the ball, Fleck is going to channel his inner-Tressel and milk the shit out of the clock.
While true, your HC made a bigger deal out of it than warranted. It’s almost like he’s looking for excuses on why the offense isn’t putting up the same numbers it has over the rest of his tenure.
Oh. Yeah, we are pretty bad at football. We have lost two road games against Power 5 teams we were underdogs in. Our QB has like 10 turnovers in 2 games.
Better than Nebraska, outside of OSU last year whens the last time we’ve had our doors blown off in the past 4-5 years. Not saying we would beat them but we put up a better fight. How would you do?
RU would lose by as much if not more than Nebraska did. You guys had a great D last year but lost some players on that side to the NFL. And while it’s still early, the offense still looks bad. I wouldn’t be shocked if Colorado beat Iowa or RU by a similar margin as the huskers.
I'm not surprised that you've suppressed the memory of the 42-3 B1G championship game season before last.
I'm still not convinced they would have beaten Nebraska if I was taking snaps (for Nebraska) and handing the ball off every play.
