They have skill position talent. No idea which of these PAC 12 teams are for real, but the PAC 12 is winning a lot of B-list nonconference games: Utah/Florida Utah/Baylor Colorado/TCU Colorado/Nebraska WSU/Wisconsin Oregon/Texas Tech
Colorado has the benefit of playing in a defense optional conference. That being said, I doubt they will out score USC or Oregon
It is kind of ironic that the PAC 12 imploded in the off-season before the year in which they look to have the strongest set of teams they have had in a generation. Seven different PAC 12 teams are ranked this week.
Since ESPN/Disney and Spectrum are feuding, I was left with Wisconsin at WSU as my best option Saturday night. WSU had the game on the verge of a blowout in the first half, 24-6 with the crowd going nuts. To Fickell’s credit, Wisconsin came out better after half and got within 24-22. Wisconsin killed itself with fumbles. They gave up a scoop and score TD. When the pulled to 22-24 and seemed to have second half momentum, they fumbled at midfield and WSU put the game away on the next drive.
Big Ten Weekly Press Release https://bigten.org/documents/2023/9/11//2023_Week_3.pdf?id=8229 Cliffs: Iowa’s Ferentz won his 200th game, the 27th FBS coach to do it. Michigan’s JJ McCarthy completed 13 consecutive passes against UNLV, a record under Harbaugh. Noah Kim currently has a 15 consecutive passes stream heading into MSU/Washington. Darius Taylor’s 33/193 against EMU is the second most single game rushing yards by a Minnesota true freshman.
JJ completed his first 13 of the game, a record to start a game. He completed 19 straight in game 1, I believe.
Kirk Ferentz is now 63-3 when he gets an 8 point lead at any point in a game. He should just always go for 2 if they score first imo.
Technically the JJ stat "under Harbaugh" is under Jay Harbaugh, which is nice but also spans one half of football so not as impressive.
UVA's quarterback is abymal. Tua's brother is gonna have a nice career as an NFL backup. That's not a dig on him. Michigan's best QB the last 20 years had a nice career as an NFL backup.

This is not meant as a slight on Wilson, but PFF for college is nothing short of terrible. They seem to focus all their effort on the NFL where they are very good and then don’t have near enough resources for all the college game.
I would live-bet Penn state right now I'd bovada was working Illinois offense is absolutely shitting their pants today and the defense is going to quit soon
