Losing by 1 makes it so much worse for Minnesota. Make your free throws guys (and don’t intentionally foul when you’re only up 2)
The funny thing is that Parker Fox is usually atrocious at shooting free throws, and he went 5-7 today. The rest of the team went 7-20, and that includes Dawson Garcia and Mike Mitchell (by far the two best FT shooters) combining to go 2-9. Just embarrassing.
Who could have guessed that taking a guy who's top accomplishments were being an assistant coach on some middling-to-bad Gopher basketball teams and being Travis Steele's top assistant at Xavier wasn't going to work out? How about we actually try hiring someone with some winning experience next time...our past two hires had a combined one year of head coaching experience, and that was an 18 win FIU team.
You can’t tell me this shit isn’t rigged. Clear foul and double dribble and nothing. Fucking pathetic.
Nebraska got as fucked over as its possible to get fucked over at Carver Hawkeye. that they ever lose in that building at all is embarrassing.
I don’t know what the announcers were confused about. If the auburn guy is standing out of bounds and you throw the ball off him, it doesn’t matter if it bounces off him. He’s out of bounds and it touches him.
Mick did the exact same thing last year. He’s an asshole and thinks that insulting his team publicly will get them to gel.
He's really talented. His good games are really good, and it seems like the consistency is starting to come around a bit. If UM can get Gayle's shot to come around at all, it can be a really tough out in March.
I didn’t realize Wolf was as good of a distributor as he is. The way he and Goldin play off each other is tough for most college teams to handle.
Yeah I wish we kept him. I think Pearl was hesitate to promise him a starting job, and then the top PG we went after in the portal didn’t pan out. He’d be starting for us but probably not featured in the offense as much as Michigan has.
Tre just has a tendency to disappear, and he fouled a lot on defense. Really good shooter, think he had our highest % last year and often creates his own opportunities not just catch and shoot.
Definitely isn't the first time Like 90% of what he said is fine with me but the lack of accountability on his end and the mention of his win total is what sticks with me. Mention that on recruiting visits, not when you're trying to motivate a team. And don't take a West Coast job and complain your players are soft. West Coast weak, Mick. God damn boy, everybody know that. Also... He doesn't have 500 wins yet
Poor DePaul. Blew a 15 pt halftime lead at Seton Hall, which was their best chance at a road win. There's probably some poor bastard in Rosemont who thought this was the year they changed their ways.
