Probably right but its more we don't care enough to fund basketball at a high level. We were estimated to be in that 14-16 range in player payroll in the league.
I'm assuming KJ and Dick are 1/2 in some order. I won't miss them either, but I'd argue pretty strongly that they aren't the problem with this team (specifically Dick). He is fine if you let him stick to his role, and even then, he's putting up numbers with his flaws. Someone has to score points. The problem is those two are being asked to do stuff they aren't equipped to do. Harris has simply not gotten better in 5 years and frankly has regressed. He makes some of the dumbest rookie mistakes that someone like him shouldn't make. Especially since he contributes next to nothing on the offensive end - he has to be better to make up for that, and he is not. Between him and KJ, playing with only 3/5 of a lineup on the offensive end is a fucking killer.
Bill is the problem with this years team I dislike KJ far and away the most. He has so much athleticism but has shown zero ability to do anything at all on offense, and his lack of rebounding is unjustifiable with his size and athleticism.
Agreed and mostly agreed. I give KJ a bit of a pass because his role is less important than Harris or Dick and he's simply being asked to do things he can't do. But yes, his lack of development mirrors Harris and they both frustrate the hell out of me.
i'm just thankful ku prevented me from having to watch rylan's bow legged ass jog up and down the court.
my guy corey alexander is horrible but i am thankful bilas got pulled from ACC tourney coverage so he wouldn’t spend all afternoon doing this during live action
this isnt a tourney team and the only reason theyre even in discussion is because the bubble is so hilariously weak
well looks like oregon gets to claim ke’el ware’s future all star appearances and nba accolades over indiana now
Ed Cooley and Georgetown were 0-3 against DePaul this season That's the first time DePaul has beat the same opponent three times in a season since 1999-00 against Charlotte.
rip john feinstein. loved his books on college basketball as a kid. the one behind the scenes of the patriot league for a season was one of my favorite books as a kid
Texas was scrambling and out of sorts with 8 seconds on the shot clock, that timeout made no sense even without the rest of the context of what happened after
