Kirk Addison. Floor is higher on the vikes offense and I think Addison was getting flex level targets/tds at the end of the season?
Alright outside of just trusting ESPN+ during the draft are there any one pager type of rankings that are most trusted? Miss that rezy guys spreadsheet.
I asked the same question and was pointed towards the “fantasy pros” rankings. I used them in a in-person draft this past weekend. I think they turned out alright.
Kirk Then depends upon how you feel about the QB situation. I would go McLaurin, because he’s the WR1 there.
Just finished up my draft for my main league. 12-team superflex $220 auction, 1/2 PPR, with 3 keepers. Was hoping for a stronger QB1, but otherwise it should be a playoff contender but not a favorite (two teams had insane value on their keepers, so they will be the clear favorites). Mostly playing the lottery with my bench to get better keeper value for next year, since my choices weren't fantastic this year compared to what I usually have available. QB: Trevor Lawrence ($21) SF: Kirk Cousins ($8 - keeper) RB: Aaron Jones ($20) RB: Rhamondre Stevenson ($12) WR: CeeDee Lamb ($51 - keeper) WR: Justin Jefferson ($54) TE: Luke Musgrave ($1) Flex: Malik Nabers ($29) K: Jake Moody ($1) DST: Bengals ($1) IR: TJ Hockenson ($3) Bench QB: Drake Maye ($1) Bench RB: Tyjae Spears ($2 - keeper). Will add another RB to the roster with Hockenson on IR Bench WR: Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($5), Brian Thomas Jr. ($3)
I don't understand getting free agent pickups in the last round. You didn't draft them their so you shouldn't get to keep them there. It should be something like rounds 8-10 at a minimum.
My home league from the 11th spot, 12 team .5 PPR. I kind of regretted taking Higgins in the 5th, and autodrafted Pickens in the 6th while looking at rankings and trying to decide on an RB. Was happy that I was able to get several lotto tickets to help out in the next few rounds, fingers crossed 1-2 of Spears, Brown, and Dowdle pan out. I’m also fucked at TE lol, but 3 people had taken 2 of them by round 11 which is bizarre to me.
Those players went undrafted last year and later picked up. If someone is drafted in the 8th, later dropped and picked up, they still count as an 8th. When assigning value, last round is really the only option for someone that wasn't drafted at all imo.
Another option is exactly what he said - having free agent pick ups counts as a higher assigned round - or not letting them be eligible to be kept at all
Yea idk why someone that wasn't drafted would count as higher than someone that did but yall can do what you like in your leagues.
This is where I was leaning. Even with Darnold as the starter? If Cousins were still there, it'd be easier to go Addison over McLaurin.
Not great for Burton's dynasty outlook after a preseason broadcast hinted that he had been falling asleep in team meetings.
A function of them being nominated late (especially BTJ) in the auction. Rookies that were nominated earlier got bid up much more (McConkey and Corum both were nominated earlier and each went for $16). By the time they were thrown out there, there were only 3-4 people that had more than a dollar to spend. The QB market also has an impact because of it being superflex. Bo Nix went for $10. Goff went for $30.
Very possible but what's the rationale for someone that wasn't drafted costing more than someone that was?
If Tucker Kraft is out on Fri night, Luke Musgrave is a sneaky TE stream option for those of us with bottom of the barrel TE's in redraft.
Higgins is gonna have a monster year. I avoided Steelers players like the plague this year. Your RB situation us brutal imo (I hate Barkley's fantasy projection)
Trying out a guillotine league this year. 18 teams, full PPR, had the 8th pick. Didn't love taking Chase with my first pick on the off chance he holds out into the season (or the holdout during fall camp impacts him in anyway), but I don't think he will. Still, a little more risk than you would prefer for your first round pick in this format where you could be one and done. Feel pretty good about how it turned out beyond that - the RB's are my weak point but they should at least catch some passes, and I can focus on targeting RB's more when they come available. QB: Brock Purdy RB: Tony Pollard RB: Austin Ekeler WR: Ja'Marr Chase WR: Deebo Samuel TE: Dalton Kincaid Flex: Terry McLaurin Flex: DeMario Douglas Bench QB: Bryce Young Bench RB: Jaleel McLaughlin, Dameon Pierce Bench WR: Tre Tucker, Jalen McMillan Bench TE: Michael Mayer
I didn't, but the FF podcast I do listen to is led by the guy who created the format, so most of the tips with the format have been filtered to me over the past couple of years even if it isn't a guillotine league podcast.
finished my draft tonight and my main takeaway was that i should've won last year because i had a bunch of players taken in the first few rounds (chase, laporta, cook, rice, kincaid, herbert) that i couldn't keep due to limits. thought rounds 13-18 were completely barren in terms of talent. i think i regret drafting daniels + caleb so early because my WRs especially feel weak. keepers were allen (1st), bijan (2nd), amon ra (6th) and puka (17th). 12 team superflex.
