It’s also dumber than shit that we just play the reverse conference slate for our schedules next season. I hate it so much.

 

Come November the only ranked teams you'll play will be from the great state of Alabama. 10-2

 

WIth Nick Saban gone and one less coach to cry about playing 9 games, hopefully we can get to it in 2026.

I'm sure they'll do something extremely stupid and it'll be 10 years before everyone plays each other

Vandy beats Auburn with Kill to being the overall record between the 2 teams to 22-22-1. Look for Vandy to retake the winning record in 2025.

Well that's a shame because, unlike Verne, Kevin Harlan is a treasure and most of social media thinks so too.

 

I miss Verne. I doubt I will miss Gary.

 

Verne was a fine football broadcaster - just should've hung it up a few years earlier.

Nessler is the best and sad he's not calling SEC games anymore.

Idk Verne maybe you could have actually learned the names of players and not gotten as much hate.

 

I hung out with Verne at a cocktail party in Birmingham before an Iron Bowl. He was staying with Slive for Thanksgiving. Verne talked to me for 30 minutes and let me ask annoying questions and was happy to do so. Genuinely a very nice man.
