That was a strange 20 minute commercial for Gallagher. Couldn’t have been more friendly to a murderous war criminal
And good for them for being able to sit there for two straight weeks getting asked non stop questions about the darkest time in their lives.
Halocaust survivros carry a sense of duty to make sure nothing like that ever happens again. Im sure all of them have discussed their experiences several times over the course of their lives to school assemblies, hebrew schools ect.
It’ll be interesting to see how deep they go into it but there’s going to be a interesting piece on the rebuilding of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church that was destroyed on 9/11. There was a massive financial scandal a little while back that delayed the construction and the Archbishop of the American Archdiocese ended up stepping down because of it https://www.cbsnews.com/news/rebuil...20-04-09/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7d&linkId=86349243
I never got that vibe, neither did my wife. We’re both Biden voters who have already voted in Ohio he seemed normal my wife even thought they shut down Pence after 3 questions because he answered them well pretty even keel from everyone to me
idk if his behavior is just so normalized now, but he was whining the whole time. “That question is so mean” “you’d never ask Biden that question.” Pissy that 60 Minutes wouldn’t cover Hunter Biden. acting like a damn child.
Trump acting butthurt and leaving isn't a good look. She was asking relevant questions that he didn't like. Its not going to change anyone's minds either way though.
That was a great episode. I appreciate Obama's temperament but sometimes you have to call a spade, a spade. TikTok sucks and needs to be shut down.
Really solid episode tonight addressing the SolarWinds hack and the efforts by Bill Gates to address climate change.
I had no idea or anything about this interview. But after watching that i 100% believe william and charles made jokes about the color of the kid to harry.
His response was selectively edited which is kind of disappointing for 60 minutes bc they made it fit their narrative better than it would have. Publix was only one part of the vaccine roll out in Florida. I don’t know how palm beach is distributing their vaccines but in jax they have vaccines available in low income areas.
I mean, if you watched the segment, you see that a highlighted historically poor and low-income area is 25 miles from the nearest publix and the vaccine rollout in that area has been abysmal.
Very cool segment on “The Richie Boys”. The guy who’s 99 and works 6 days a week is something else. They all seemed super sharp for close to 100.
Curious; have significant other governments made the decision to ban FB and their related other apps such as IG? I was curious if this was a push by other countries. It looks like someone or some group watched the interview last night and decided to take matters into their own hands. Looking like FB, IG, WA, are all down this morning.
Some governments like China have blocked it because they're authoritarian and cant control the message. Some other governments like Myranmar, Hungary ect have used it to promote justifications for genocide and aparthied systems because they're authoritarian. No liberal democracy has restricted or banned aspects of it for all the reasons in the episode.
Appreciate it. From watching the segment last night, it appears to have confirmed a lot of what we presented in the Netflix show "The Social Dilemma". One of the most concerning aspects of this whole situation is the damage they have shown it to do to young women. I mean if I ever have a daughter, I want to make sure she is fully educated to the dangers these platforms create.
