We brought it upon ourselves. Don't put it in the hands of the committee when you can control it yourself by just holding on to a 21-0 lead.
Yup. Not even mad. It was expected. You knew the committee was going to find an argument to favor bama over us. Get one stop against Cuse and this isn’t a concern.
If you blow a 21 point lead in that situation you don’t deserve to be there. Fucking. Cristobal man, what a dogshit ending to what should’ve been a phenomenal year still never won a fucking acc title either…
if im going to be honest with all of you, you would still need to beat SMU i'm fairly confident that the ACC is a 1 bid league regardless since it's bama as first out or 2 acc bids you all spared yourself that disappointment
Lashlee leaving, going to smu, and then churning out a superior product with a bunch of cane transfers should tell you some things about Mario
well a) there is no way to know if im wrong or not and b) what is my bias in this? I think the same for smu if they were to lose it's anti-bias against what the committee will do for bama I think you're misunderstanding, i'm pro-miami making the playoff
To be fair they were playing semi pro long before anyone else I’ll never get over having player on the pay roll of the school
man the CFP said as much tonight, SMU is gonna get dropped if they lose ACC is the minor leagues it’s over move on
Only reason they haven't picked apart the ACC is because they aren't sure if anyone has their media rights. ACC blows up, they'll start snapping up the pieces.
Glad Bobby is sticking around but IMO robby is making a mistake going back to WR. So much potential at CB
At least the basketball team showed some fight. The freshmen (aside from Bethea) are showing the most fight and effort, especially Divine. He needs to get starter-level minutes at the point going forward. It's probably a lost season regardless, but we've had our best flashes this year when he has been on the court. Let him, Swartz, and to a lesser extent Johnson-Arigu take bigger roles going forward.
I know he won't do any better than 3rd when it comes to the Heisman, but good to see Cam get some hardware.
Seems like Bama is doing with Horton what UGA did with Young last year. Can't really do anything about that.
Horton's production fell off a cliff the last half of the season, he's been dead to me since he dropped the TD pass vs Syracuse It's a bummer because the first 6-7 games I thought he could really be a true #1
you didn't. I'm more saying that the only mistake on offense I'm willing to criticize is George's stupid penalty.
I'm more than willing to criticize our first team AA for fumbling on the third and short tunnel screen because a. he fumbled on the exact same play the week before b. it's a tunnel screen you know you are going to get hit hard secure the ball and c. it ended up in a scoop and score and directly added to Syracuse win probability more than any other play in the game.. but I'm built different
I tell people that and they try and brush it off that he made several big plays after that smh...cool but that play is where Syracuse stop chasing us and we were now chasing them. Its the biggest difference between the Syracuse game and the UL game. As bad as the defense was we were always in control of the game because they were always chasing us. If the offense maintains a lead the pressure is on Syracuse to try and keep pace score for score with our offense.
You aren't wrong. I just can't get out of my head how terrible the defensive performance was. Just absolutely zero resistence the entire game.
Riley Williams to the Portal. Grandfather went on CIS live YT and said he wasn't happy about how he was used as a blocker. You were the 3rd TE, what did you fucking expect?
Nature of the game and if he wants to portal, go for it. He was gonna be the #1 TE this year and obviously have a better role, but good luck to him.
Kids are fucking stupid The starter you’re about to replace is getting drafted in the first two days, but nah lets be upset about backing him up this past season
No they wanna get paid. They don't suck So funny to see folks saying shit like this that would 100% leave their jobs in a heartbeat for a raise. They have no reason to have any kind of loyalty to these schools, nor should they
If someone is tampering with Riley fucking Williams and offering him a raise, good luck to that program.
I don’t think anybody would argue that case for Horton. But a backup TE is a stretch This one just kinda speaks to being homesick or just stupid
Do we really think he’d be getting tampered with and offered significant more money than what he was already getting after hardly playing the past two years?
