Typically in a spring game you want to show off your newly learned clock management skills so you can shake that “I’m a complete football meathead” narrative.
Who called Mario a genius? We’ve known he makes these kind of mistakes for years. It’s exponentially more important that we learned for certain we need a QB in the portal than Ward only playing a half or that mario made a blunder with his time outs. Not like it would have mattered because the QB was terrified of throwing the ball more than 5 yards past the LOS.
don't blame the kid at all. completely overmatched all year. change of scenery at a smaller program will do him a lot of good.
Didn't help that his moron of a DC/Safeties coach kept trotting him out there week after week but kid fucking sucked
We just blew a 19 point lead to BC (BC's largest ever comeback at home), and we managed to lose it by double digits. Fun times.
I'm far more concerned about our defense than I am our QB atm. We need to fire every single fucking person involved on that side of the ball and start over. This season was a fucking abomination
Yea. 4 million is quite the investment, but I’d happily pay that at this point considering they’ve missed on the other targets.
Yep, the market is expensive, but winning aint cheap. Either you spend and stay up with the big boys or don't and get killed. You can't have natty aspirations and not be willing to open the wallet. Unless you are a master of developing players which.. so far this staff hasn't shown that ability.
I mean they’ve been willing. Just haven’t been able to close. They offered more NIL and a better opportunity to Mateer and he decided to follow his OC to OU.
According to 247, he met/spoke with the NCAA yesterday and expects to be granted entry into the portal this week.
DJ Ivey turning into a stud shutdown corner in the nfl was certainly not expected No idea how you go from getting routinely torched by super mid ACC wide receivers to this
CIS owner been harping on this for a while. Kid was always talented but the toxicity of the fanbase got in his head. He made some absolutely brutal mistakes (the fake punt against GT) and lost all confidence when the noise around him never let up. good for him turning it around.
he did his job he got us an in with Fancis so now we have our poly connect so he's no longer needed. I wish him well on his future endeavors.
JT can stay. It was well documented how much he hated all the stunts and nonsense the DL was being asked to do.
Do I love spending a massive back on an injured Carson Beck? Nope. Is it the best of a bad situation? Absolutely. Also lmao at FSU fans still continuing to think that Miami and FSU have the same portal/HS recruiting strategy.
Our offense next year is going to be running down everybody’s throat with an Oline that is 4 of 5 that are recruits and 2 RBs that are recruits But sure we’re all in with the portal for another year
lol at strategy There is 1 strategy in recruiting and that's get as much talent as you can every single year The difference is the respective coaching staff's ability to sign good players out of HS in this instance the 2 teams you guys + us guys --
