Scouting report: very technically skilled, great passer. More offensive than defensive minded. Can really pick a pass to set up his teammates. Not terribly physical, more quick than fast. I agree, cheap depth where we are thin. I agree with the skill assessment ITT, though. Not the most exciting player, but he knows the league and Jose's system isn't doing anything for a mid-fielder's career. I don't expect much but it's not a bad guy to have for late game purposes defensively or for headers. If anything it's choking out the youth but I'd imagine Emery wants to keep his job for now.
