Bringing Ray Lewis in makes way more sense now that we know his best player was involved as fuck in a brutal murder.
idk I haven't followed the case super close. Not sure how much time passed from the first altercation and the shooting. Miles had to text Miller and Miller to get there so some time definitely passed. I assume we'll eventually get a better timeline/diagram of what happened.
Go fuck your self. Yeah it was a “gun and Texas” joke but get fucked with Texas having any morality when it comes to gun violence.
You have to admit, saying "I can't answer that question" and immediately following that by answering the question is pretty funny
Thread title now is a lie. Say what you want about him making a bad decision and what repercussions should come with that, but it’s just straight up false to say it was Miller’s gun. But hey, don’t let the facts get in the way of your preferred narrative
Sounds like you can help someone murder someone so long as the gun belongs to them, you give it to them, and help them not let the victims escape.
Even if they can’t charge him with anything I hope it destroys his draft prospects he deserves to lose something because he’s very clearly not innocent
What exactly is the issue with what I said? I’ll say again, say what you want about what Miller did, there’s reasonable discussion to be had about the punishment he should face, but maybe just don’t put a lie into the thread title just because it’s splashier. I don’t think that’s unreasonable but I’m sure I’m just bammering
I for one am glad someone is standing up for the board's thread title integrity. Been on the decline for many years.
Based on what? Receiving a text? No testimony says he actually brought the gun to Miles. He might have. He might have just told him where he parked. The testimony says he got a text not that he brought the gun. But by all means let’s convict him right now. Fuck due process.
I love when someone tries to defend a guy because he plays for his favorite team when clearly the guy is a shithead who helped murder someone. You play your semantics if it makes you feel better.
Hey man bring the gun. Guy gets the gun and Miller is on the scene. Deuce How do you know he brought the gun?
I need to see a little bit more information, but woo boy, I don't see why he should get to play for the rest of the year if I'm reading that stuff correctly.
You could choose to post about the murder, how poorly your coach has handled it, something else about the case but you tried to deflect to the thread title. It's all good, I updated the title to accurately represent the situation.
In the future if a guy on your team does a shitty thing imagine how you would react if he was in a rivals uniform before you go defending the guy, so you don’t look like a retard. We are in our 30’s now. Do better.
Disclaimer that I'm not a lawyer and probably don't know what I'm talking about. But I imagine that in theory, you really don't need a good reason to return property to it's owner when asked. They'd probably need to be able to prove that Miller knew for a fact that they were gonna kill someone. That said it's absolutely ridiculous that anyone can just be in possession of anyone's gun at any given time and apparently that's OK.
I mean, it's not like they're defending a dying, drugs, etc. It's murder! Doesn't get worse than that
no one is arguing that Brandon didn't make terrible decisions. however, you are the one jumping to conclusions about the level of his involvement.
