I need to finish Odyssey
I’ll get to that one day
I might be one of the few but I loved Unity. Once they fixed the bugs, it was great.
I like it. I’m just running around doing side missions. No clue what the main story is at this point since I took so long off to play Witcher 3.
I’m fucking in
So it’s all or nothing lol
One too many people complained about the endless fetch quests from the town squares in Odyssey and their response is just “ok no side quests sorry geez”.
Sounds like it’s replaced with raiding and settlement building
Rolling my gaming hours over to Odyssey once I finish the last 700 hours of the Blood and Wine Witcher DLC.
I started Origins and wasn't super hyped on it after 10 hours or so.
You still post here!?!?
I can do all things through TMB, which strengthens me
Jumped into Odyssey. Played about as much of it as I did Origin, and for whatever reason, Odyssey has grabbed me more. After a metric fuckton Witcher gameplay, it's taking me a little while to get used to the fighting but I'm warming up to it.
I've missed being able to climb shit.
Also, is it just me, or have they managed to make climbing larger obstacles feel a lot more dangerous? In Black Flag and prior it really felt you could only climb clear features on something so you kind of knew the path up. In the newer games, your ability to climb seemingly anything gives a lot more sense of falling.
best AC game for me
By far imo
Ezio will always have a place in my heart though
The ability to pillage and plunder in BF is what I’m looking forward to in Valhalla
In my opinion, nothing will compare to the character and arc that was Ezio. That story and character was so great and a thrill to play through till the end.
Black Flag was a blast of a game and really enhanced so much of what makes Assassins Creed fun.
Origins was a great story and an awesome reset of the gameplay. Odyssey improved the gameplay from Origins but really seems lost with regards to a story. Both lacked the true Assassins Creed feel, however Origins did a great job introducing a starting point.
One thing I really hope Valhalla does is bring back the Assassin element to the game. It seems they have drifted more into the RPG elements instead of focusing on the the story.
I’m the opposite. Origins hooked me, I sank 60 hours into it. By the time I got to odyssey, I was burnt out. It’s the only mainline game in the series I’ve yet to beat.
I bailed on Unity
If you didn't play through that entire game at least once, using only the wrist blades as weapons, we can't be friends.
I'd been playing Black Flag for 100+ hours prior to starting Origins so the change was pretty stark. Think I needed the change of scenery Witcher provided before getting into another AC title.
I will never forget the first time I realized you could counter/attack with just the hidden blades.
It was game changing.
I liked Odyssey a lot and finished the main quest lines in about 75 hours. In my opinion, that’s too damn long to get the crit path experience.
AC2 is likely still my favorite. It told its story and didn’t dick around with a hundred different things to do. The Ubisoft map cumshot of icons after the title crawl wore thin a long time ago.
Bought the Helix credits to double XP for the entirety of the game. Makes things a lot more fun imo
Odyssey was great but I’m very partial to AC3
Very viking of him
Cheating on your wife doesn't feel like a fireable offense.
Ubisoft just got done cleaning house for a litany of culture issues. Probably zero tolerance at this point.
It’s not the first and only time he’s been caught doing it and female employees came out and said he never wore his ring to the office and would hit on them
Nothing is true, everything is permitted
So I guess AC Odyssey ended for me sooner than I anticipated
family reunited ending
unexpected but sweet
I started Rogue this week. It has been pretty fun so far. I missed hitting the high seas.
Just finished Rogue. That was a lot of fun but waaay too short. I thought the story was going somewhere but just ended.
Got on eBay and bought Odyssey and Origins for cheap.
Loves Origins. By the time I got to Odyssey though, I was burnt out. I need to beat it before Valhalla comes out
I only played about an hour of origins
completed Odyssey and it about burnt me out on sandbox games, so much quantity over quality
I so want to love Valhalla because there’s few things I love more than chopping up Brits with a tomahawk/axe so hopefully it’s a more focused sandbox like ghost of Tsushima was
I started Origins and man does it feel different from the others. The controls different? I’m not sure. Still trying to get use to it.
I need to get 3. Should have pulled the trigger when it was on sale a few months back.
if you got time spare
What does this mean? Or what are the videos showing?
