Had someone come by yesterday morning to pick up a car. Forgot to turn alarm off before going out to meet them and didn't hear it beep when I walked out so the silent alarm triggered and about 15 minutes later a cop was knocking on my door. Didn't ask my name. Didn't ask my ID. That privilege wasn't lost on me. He just saw a white dude who belonged and went about his business.
