Not a Barstool guy but I do remember Big Cat strongly disagreeing with Dave interviewing Trump at the White House in 2020, having a fairly long segment on it, and being called a soy boy cuck by all the Stoolies on Twitter.

 

Pretty sure Dan is a moderate/lib and Dave is a one issue voter and will vote for whoever will give him a tax break

 

Dans always said they don’t want to talk politics they want to be a break from that for people. They also consider themselves too dumb to give a comment on issues and will just continue to talk about dumb shit

Barstool was cheeky and fun 10+ years ago when the main characters did silly shit like dressing up to go to the renaissance fair. Things got sad and tragic when it grew into the 600lb gorilla and used that reach to bully, harass, etc.

It’s just another example of sticking around long enough to become the villain.

The best Portnoy video was like 2010 or so when he tried to be a concert promoter. The rappers he booked would no show or show up hours late or too fucked up to perform and their managers would shake him down. It was just him driving down the highway in the middle of the night yelling into his phone. No schtick just the rants of a mad man on the brink of losing his ass. Unfortunately off the internet forever.
