Mallman’s cookbook is fantastic. It’s got hardly any instructions, just get a cut of beef and some vegetables and go to work. My fiancé and I have watched his chefs table episode many times

An hour on the Egg with some cherry chunks then 7-8 minutes in the air fryer to crisp em up. Sauce is plain and simple with Frank’s, butter, and jarlic. Penzey’s buttermilk ranch to dip.

I don’t mean to feed the debate, but does it have other names? I have always spelled it koozie rather than coozie, but didn’t realize there are other names

 

I've heard it called coozie/koozie, cozy, and hugger.

 

It always made me laugh when they gave those out at some event thing we went too

Yep have those as well. People bring them over for parties here and leave them.

 

Same. My wife is always trying to get rid of them but I keep telling her each one is sentimental to me

 

I'm doing some jerk country style ribs and chicken thighs on the weber shortly. I finally got some pimento wood chunks so I'll be trying those out. Been busy with life and a lot of taking care of my mom lately, so I haven't been grilling or smoking any meats in a couple of months.

3 Costco racks and about 20 chicken thighs on the new Traeger. I stopped making bbq since my son since I didn’t have the time. Traeger temp control made it so much easier.

bacon/brown sugar/and caramelized onion baked beans + Gruyère/cheddar Mac and cheese.

also did a smoked queso as an app

 

How did it turn out?

 

Smoked some massive 2lb a piece pork steaks. Ran out of time and threw them on the grill for a few minutes.
