Yeah for me it was the american cheese. It would not melt no matter what. Seriously 15 minutes under high broil and you could take it out and pull the square of cheese off the bread just like it was when you put it on there.
it is a milk fat thing there is only one cheese in the world that will take direct heat and not melt, although we rarely melt with direct heat in everyday life.
I use my toaster oven all the time. Toasting Cheddar onto hotdogs and for old pizza and stuff. Sometimes will put stove top mac&cheese in a metal bowl in the toaster oven to get the cheese on top nice and crispy.
ill look for the one guy who isnt there with 17 hispanic kids he cant control. that shit drives me crazy
Haha pretty damn close, its fucking delicious though. Having attended public school all my life I have an affinity for pizza in slab form.
I live in New Jersey and I don't know a self respecting supermarket that doesn't carry it to be honest.
garlic naan (always keep some in freezer) + jar of pizza sauce + mozzarella + whatever toppings I can find
if you are lucky enough to live in a state that gordon's foods serves those pizza sticks can be found there.
http://www.gerritysdelivers.com/eliospizza.html *misread what you said, thought you said you couldn't find it at sams.
Here you go. DiGiorno Garlic Bread pepperoni pizza. I added extra cheese and pepperonis. Forgot to add jalepeno's but I have some crushed red pepper.
hell yes so did we. every time the caterers would bring it in someone would yell "PUBLIC SCHOOL PIZZA" and there was a stampede that looks so fucking good.
IMO Tombstone is best for thin crust cracker-like pizza. Freschetta just stomps all opponents, but as of late, it's neck n' neck with DiGiorno
Dude, you weren't kidding. Maybe the best frozen pizza I've had. Not as doughy as the regular and thicker than the thin crust. Def on my grocery list from now on. I always get nostalgic over public school pizza. Especially the one with the little chunks of pepperoni.
I've never had a DiGiornio that I have liked and been happy to pay $7 for. I have just stayed with Red Baron and Totinos although Kroger rising crust pizza is pretty good too.
Wow! You learn something new everyday. I had no idea there was a place on Earth that didn't have supermarkets with the frozen food aisle paved with Elios Pizza (aka Public School Pizza). You can buy a box of 9 slices (27 bricks) for well under $10 at just about any wholesaler.
When looking for shitty food if I can't get my hands on some ripe tits skyline chili I usually go for the little mini Atkins Pizza when i'm craving shit tier pizza and trying to avoid carbs. If I'm feeling fat then california kitchen is my go-to.
