Is there a setting that I need to change to be able to see enemies? There’s so much clutter on these maps that all the enemies just blend into the background.

 

Are you playing on a computer monitor or TV? Have you messed with the colorblind settings?

 

I just went 1-29 in a ground war game and I saw maybe 5 enemies the entire game. But then I watch the killcams and I’m getting shot from a third of the way across the map by some guy with iron sights.

 

dude thats just the learning curve, If im not on a sniper I'm using Iron sights, my guess is 75% of the guys in this thread are the same way. ADS speed (aim down sight) is essentially the most important gun metric in the game. I think you should practice on some game modes where you "know" where people are going (domination, headquarters, hardpoint, capture the flag) then work up to ground war/War Zone once you get a handle on some of the mechanics.

I am a 1.0+ KD player in MP which is nothing special but at least it’s fun. I also go 2-30 on ground war every time I play. I think it’s just a shitty game mode.

Id also say it takes time to get to know maps. Once you start to have a feel for maps and more importantly rotations (as in, using context clues of where you are spawning, where the shooting is going on, etc. to figure out where the action is moving to) you will find yourself aiming the right direction and getting the drop on people a lot more.

 

Getting my first win in war zone as a solo playing in Trios with an air strike taking out the last team was satisfying.

IMO Search and Destroy is the best MP mode to get better at the game. Especially if you’re trying to get better in MP to be better in Warzone. The style of play people get good at in TDM or Domination will get you greased and your teammates annoyed with you in Warzone (unless you’re the aforementioned freakishly good player)

Search is great practice for 2-4 vs 2-4 player tactical play. Gets you accustomed to staying with the team and practicing call-outs etc.

While most of the other modes just get you better at playing Rambo which is a pretty garbage way to play in Trios/Quads

Played with a duo earlier who ended up with 12 and 13 kills respectively with over 4000 damage each. I had 3 kills with 1700 damage and was damn proud of myself.
