I think you need to read hit timeline if you think that's what he said in terms of the "you guys gave are giving him power" premise.

His point is that Clay isn't being challenged publicly by just about anyone on all this stuff and is being given the platform on major media outlets to just throw his nonsense out there. That's what is giving him power.

not sure but seems like the relationship is more arms length than that, better characterized as he works at FS1 on an independent contract basis.

His website is independent, he likely owns his radio and is in a syndication agreement with FS affiliates, etc. Could be off and it certainly has evolved.
