If we get to the point where there are more postponed games than actual games being played is that still us winning?
Don’t worry. Our stellar fanbase is on it. And yes this is the same guy who live-streamed himself driving to Chicago to protest.
If COVID leads to a CFB media war, six months of rooting for the virus might turn out be worth it after all.
Don't forget Captain Corch and First Mate Farva. Can't think of any ship terms that go with the letter P.
I'll admit, I've volunteered for the COVID Armada. I'm no admiral, nor captain, but a lowly Able seaman. We are here to take your football season. With Tobias as Coxswain (lol), we are ready to take on Lil Yachty, Sir Yacht, and the rest of the O$U seamen.
I was curious myself, so googled it. Honestly hard to find that exact info (in the 15 minutes of searching I did). Would be good to know, and odd its so hard to find. I did find this recent publication that analyzed the demos which was a worthwhile read as its from PNAS (which should not be biased).. https://www.pnas.org/content/117/36/22035 It states that 70% of covid deaths were aged 70 and over, so the average conceivably could be 80+ but don't know.
Not at all. But you're calling folks motherfuckers etc for not following guidance. Wasn't meant to be nasty but was curious how you were infected.
i legitimately have no idea texas was a shit show when i got sick, and still is i didn’t do anything but go shopping for necessities and take walks around my neighborhood
Yea. I couldn’t find whatever I read in the past that made that claim. Its probably months old by now. I am just not obsessed enough to save links to everything I have seen over the last 7 months. That lack of dedication burnt me here.
This guy does nothing to change my opinion that 90% of the OSU fan base is bald white men. I’d bet a lot of money he also smells like a mix of a fart and BO with a little old spice to mask it.
Ugggh pass. More familiar with “that guy” than I would prefer to be as a fan of a team that makes the playoff every year that also resides in SC.
But that isn’t going to happen. As matter of fact, nothing close to that is going to happen. What is pretty gross is a lot of people here would love for that to happen if it furthers their narrative and allows then to say “I told you so”. Seems like if your heart was in the right place you would be angry at schools themselves and other establishments that aren’t testing multiple times a week and doing all of the things the football teams are doing to ensure safety. If the rest of the world could mimic what these football teams are doing the world would be a much safer place. Not the most sexy thing to drive the narrative though, so i’m not surprised to see CFB is the target.
Schools themselves and other establishments don't have the money to test multiple times a week. They don't have the number of tests available to do it, either. Regardless of what side of the debate you're on, these things are obvious.
Exactly! Therefore, CFB players are in much safer environment than the average person. I don’t understand why this is looked at as somehow more dangerous or wrong when they are voluntarily playing under these conditions. Thank you! You are correct in that it’s painfully obvious.
No the fact is that you can’t test college campuses like that, so there will always be students infecting students and athletes infecting athletes. We haven’t even gotten to flu season so that’s going to be on top of the covid cases as well. Games are already having to be postponed.
